Well written TT. I wrote yesterday that someone was telling porkies and we now know Taylor told porkies' during two radio interviews. The real Jason Taylor has shown his true colours.

Think of the squad of players now knowing anything their coach tells them may not necessarily be the truth.

LOL… JT does not make the decisions to make signings public. Of course he will deny it if pressed. It is standard fare for the game. You carry on like everything he does is an unprecedented move in League whereas they are everyday occurrences.

YEAH and people are convinced that Farah was responsible for sacking two coaches - when boards and CEOs sack coaches not players!!! Quite frankly if the deal was done a month ago and is being reported by various media sources someone needs to announce it and I dont care who it is - memberships are for sale - it needs to clarified today.

No it does not. Just because you do not like something then it must be clarified? Tough luck sunshine. The world does not revolve around you and your ilk. Grow up.

Pascoe should make a public statement to confirm or deny this signing. This should include a statement clarifying Taylor's radio interviews and the answers he provided on this matter. Specifically, does the CEO and Board support Taylor's answers? Note Manly supporters were posting that Ballin had told Fox Sports he signed a 2 year deal with WTs!

What a idiotic thing to say.

Taylor like ever coach and rugby league official in the game sometimes has to either lie to the media or play with the words such as signing v almost signed v signed.

If he didn't ever lie to the media then he should 100% BE SACKED.

If you think different I am sorry to say then you and anyone who agrees with you are dead set idiots.

If Ballin has or does sign with the club then club and player can announce it when they are good and ready and not just because someone asks. Even if he has already signed or mayby will sign but contracts take time (and also have now a 10 day cooling off period before they can be announced after registration with NRL which was the change bought in after the DCE). Mayby the club has only just signed it but hasnt registered yet , etc, etc

Of course the club can announce it when they are good and ready. But they are choosing not to - while the media is giving the fan base all the information rightly or wrongly. They made an announcement last week that was bad news for most Wests Tigers fans A new signing is usually welcomed by fans, and with Marty leaving why not announce we have signed Balin ? If Balin is letting people know openly that he has signed with the Tigers - then why arent the club confirming it? Maybe because it looks a little bit silly to sign a 31 year old hooker when you have already gor one on the books, and maybe nobody wants to be the one who has to unconvincingly explain to the fans that it is a good signing for the club And you have got the nerve to call some of us fans idiots!

Its got nothing to do with whether I like it or not - the media is providing information that should be provided by the club, that is at odds with what is being said by the coach.Again we look incompetent at managing our own affairs. And I maintain if the club is selling memberships then THEY need to inform the fans who is playing with the club. And if you dont like what I say fine - you dont have to - but save you grow up lines for someone else cause grew up a long time ago.

People in here hear what they want.

Only Manly fans saw Ballin tell Fox Sports he'd signed for 2 years?? If Ballin has told Fox Sports he's signed, then we'd have seen it. Don't be ridiculous. Manly fans are probably talking out of their bum like most on here are.

We buy speculation as fact when it supports our individual arguments.

Until the Tigers are ready to formally announce Ballin is signed, I expect every member of the organisation to tell the media he hasn't signed. They are under zero obligation to appease the Robbie Farah supporters in here with news of every signing prior to official statements, just like they are under zero obligation to tell Robbie Farah about it too- so before anyone shoots off about 'disrespect' to Farah by not announcing Ballin's signing, just remember that Farah is employed by the Tigers to go along with what they choose to do.

It's a bit of a laugh hearing the same people bang on about every perceived sleight that JT & the Tigers are giving them.

there is absolutely nothing 'embarrassing' about not announcing a potential signing before the club is ready, even if the media choose to run with a story that might turn out to be true.

What would be embarrassing is if JT got on the radio & said "yeah we are signing Ballin, yippee!" before the club had a press statement about it.

That would be unprofessional.

You know, that thing we are trying to rid the club of- the excess information leaks, the boys club mentality, the crazy contracts, the poor salary cap management etc…

Cmon - Taylor is fair game, just as Farah is, in this soap opera - and both are copping their fair share of rubbish and accusations thrown their way depending on which side of the fence you sit on. So if you are going to get all sensitive/defensive about what Taylor is being accused of you cant put the blinkers on when Farah is copping equally as much hate from his detractors. Somewhere in the middle lies the truth and they are both in it up to their necks rightly or wrongly.

Sorry, but the level of abuse JT has copped has been on another level compared to Farah. I don't mind if people don't like the guy and want to give it to him (I know I have) but some on here take it way too far. For example one person was having a go at him for how he looked in pics at the GF luncheon. As I said, some people are so spiteful it's as if he's personally wronged them.

I see people give it to Farah, but the spitefulness and the pettiness doesn't come anywhere near JT imo.

Both seem to get an equal amount of bashing and ill will I'm afraid.

I am happy for the club to announce this or any other signing when it is completely locked in and the club is happy with the timing for whatever reason, presuming he has signed to come to WT of course. Same as always and same as every other club.

But he better be careful…...apparently, according to reputable media outlets and independent lawyers, NO ONE wants to play under coach Taylor and our club is apparently the basket case in terms of welfare.

Makes you wonder why he or anyone else would want to come here or re-sign.....must be terrible.

Cmon we all know why they have held off announcing it - lets just hope the waiting pays off and Farah is close to securing a deal somewhere else cause surely any feeling that he held for the club now after these events must be gone. If not then - we are in great hands .

Please spare me your attempt to justify what has turned into a farce. The Australian has reported Taylor giving Ballin the first week off training! Perhaps this sits well with your values but it doesn't with me.

Col, clarification of the matter is the easiest action the club can take to resolve the matter. As it stands, there is a strong whiff in the air the rhetoric about treating Farah with respect is just that.

Absolutely. True or false the Ceo has to come out sooner, rather then later and make a statement about it. Just to clear the air if nothing else.

And the other thing with Ballin's ACL injury that the WT's can probably hold off on actually "announcing " his signing for a while and let the storm clouds brewing subside

Then again no doubt Mr Leak will probably raise his ugly head before the WT's want it to happen

And there can be no doubts where the leaks are coming from anymore

Calm down Mrs. Farah, JT hasn't done anything that any other coach isn't guilty of. If coaches were sacked for misrepresenting facts and withholding information, none of them would have a job. Blair and Tuqiri were coming to the club for months and the club and coach emphatically denied anything had been signed. I'll bet you weren't calling for heads then.

I'm not the bloke's biggest fan myself, but your attempts to criminalise everything he does only shows that you have an agenda and it's beyond pathetic.

Who is Mr Leak..what position does he hold...never heard of him...

We don't really know whether Ballin has signed or not, the point is if he has signed it is a ridiculous signing, and one that should see JT get the sack.
We need backrowers and centres, not a 31 year old hooker coming off an ACL injury, this signing if true is a signing to try show our captain who can pee further, not a signing to help the club next year.
