I have nothing personal against anyone in our roster but to say he was good is just showing how bad our roster is. He managed to stay upright during a few tackles, was solid in defence. That's it. C'mon guys, he never tackle busts, he doenst give regular fast play the balls, he doesn't lay people on their backs, doesnt have a good pass, doesnt offload and doesnt make big meters.
He played 61 minutes after not playing for 8 months. He made 116m - the only forward better was Aloiai with 135. He made 49 post contact metres, a tackle break, an offload and 40 tackles at 91% efficiency. His play the ball speed was about the same as the rest of the team.
I disagree with you, I consider that a good game.

With the roles they fill the Huth is 100% better than both

Mate stats don't tell the whole story. Those were not hard metres. Nofo and leilua ran much more and right up the guts too. Sure solid performance but nothing in that makes me want to keep him. Did you watch the eels vs roosters? I would take any forward in there over Huth.

We'll have to agree to disagree - Huth seems to have performed well according to most.

His importance is understated he slows the ruck and makes tackles moving forward not letting forwards get up speed. Eiso has zero line speed it’s a problem they roll the ruck when he is in stats don’t show it.

Sorry mate I didnt mean to upset you. I said stats don't tell the whole story not that they're useless. There were two Eisenhuth posts on the forum I don't think that his performance was so stellar that it warranted them. You know what lets look at his performance in the coming weeks and hope you can make me eat humble pie with whatever it is you think makes him so good.

Both work...and work...give you 100.
But never physically dominate.
Given Twal is hurt though, would be very happy to see Huth get given that 13 role.
