What is it with singlets these days?

Let me preface my comments by noting Lodge is a dangerous idiot of major proportions and that he's probably going to get into more trouble going forward.

Having said that the video and story are largely being hyped by the lawyers trying to get cash out of him. It's not unusual that his family and friends would be happy he's dodged a gaol sentence and is back in Australia. Is he drunk in the video? Does he make fun of tbe victims or tbe the judicial process? Not based on the accompanying article.

Again I agree he's a violent thug with serious problems and he's no doubt going to find trouble his whole life. I just think this particular installment is a bit overhyped.

Matt Lodge was involved with the Fifita brothers in the junior rugby league referee scandal last year so he obviously knows the boys!!

The trouble is that except for his family and near family nobody else really seems to care about him. His friends in the video don't seem to really care.

That's the part that annoys me with these footballers that can't stay out of trouble, they are getting paid really good money to play a sport that they love… I couldn't even imagine how many kids and even grown ups that would love to get paid to play rugby league for an NRL team

Unfortunately Ink, you may be right. I've said it before, this kid has some major mental health issues and will probably always be like this. An NRL career is the last thing he needs.

But how is he off the grog? Quite okay? Then problem could be solved. Only guessing.

Keeping him off the grog keeps his inhibitions in check, that's all. There could be other stimulus that could trigger him other than alcohol.

In the initial attack in USA ..police found Lodge hiding in a closet..probably nothing in relation to this vid…but just found it odd...

Then again the whole thing is bizzarre...
