He wouldn't let anyone down but he's 27-28 so most clubs would probably be looking for younger blood.

Sounds like another Masada Iosefa, Nafe Seluini, almost made it type.

Iosefa somehow managed to notch up 57 first grade games. Lots of talent but no application, as shown by the fact that he was a hooker that never bothered to learn how to defend properly…

I just fact checked.
Hes actually played 103 first grade games,

Don't use wikipedia for fact checking, that has him playing 42 games for the Tigers in 2 seasons when he only played 14

For a guy who I thought would be a NSW cup player Matt McIlwrick has been killing it. Might be our best player this year so far or very close to it.

I still have a very high regard for Jacob Liddle and feel he is going to be an elite NRL number 9 within the next year or two.

Don't know if playing both at the moment gives us the ideal bench rotation but we have so many other problems that it can't hurt to give Liddle game time each week.

An elite hooker needs a kicking game. Liddle will need a sharp one too to make the cut of elites.

I agree with the rotation thought as well
IF MM wasnt going this great i'd stick with 2 , eg JLJ and Liddle but with current form Killer has displayed i dont see a need for Liddle.
We could carry another Forward or Utility to give people like Lawrence a break who at times looks spent

The other thing i feel, the time Liddle sits on the Bench waiting to come on makes him more nervous.

I think he does better when introduced sooner

Those are my thoughts

Agree with all of your points.
I think McIllwrick can go the 80 and if so Liddle is a wasted bench spot. I would probably bring JJ Felise onto the bench instead of Liddle.

Im just not seeing it in Liddle, just as I've never seen it in Brooks.

This is the same Liddle who has played a total of about 70 minutes of first-grade football, right? Wow you are some kind of a football savant, I'm astonished you haven't been snapped up as a head of recruitment somewhere.

I fact checked that too and thought 42 was quite a lot. I thought it was closer to 15.

Was indeed 14 Games with us.
