Just watched a SuperCoach YT vid and the host knows Mavrik’s family, said he’s training very hard for a spot and wants the 13 jersey. Apparently played there all last year in cup. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

I thought he looked decent when that cup side played the doggies at the back end of last season but I think he was 11 or 12

Yes i thought so too. It’s a kinda an odd signing just with the other backrowers we signed with him so trying to make sense of it. Sure Benji has a plan

Mavrik looked ok from what I've seen, He's probably still a bit under done but given time he would be a solid 13 , needs to work on his fitness for sure, could also bring some of dads aggression BUT without the penalties and send offs hopefully...🤪

I don't think he'll ever be a regular first-grader for us, unless we have a horror run of injuries. A good NSW cup player though, and handy bench backup.

If the Galvin situation didn't happen last year he may have been a bolter to start round 1. I don't think they'll promote youngsters too soon now given they have more depth, unless they are an absolute no-brainer.

The kids these days get a little taste and think it's where they belong forever.

I’m hearing Geyer is training hard and going well same as Roberts so it’s good for the club and both first grade and reserve grade .
I think Benji may play both in trials but for me Twally will be lock first couple games with May and Pole up front and Bunty and Hunt on bench

One of the stories of our pre-season will be the frontrunners for lock ... Any of Twal - Seyfarth - Sione Fainu - Doeuihi - Latu Fainu - Geyer - Bird would not surprise me?

Latu is coming off shoulder surgery so will miss the jump in the trials. Bird has reportedly put on some kgs so should be physically stronger. Twal could be ok for the first 20 mins at lock for his defence & line speed. IMO lock is Seyfarth's best possie with his effort & does possess some ball playing. Sione could be the surprise packet 😉

No. Seyfarth needs to be in Cup to work on his discipline. With the backrowers we currently have in Sione, Sam, KPP, Twal, Bird, Kit, Sukkar theres plenty of firepower with less penalties and mistakes.

We need an enforcer in the middle which Sam could definitely be. The only back rower better then Seyfarth on that list is KPP.
