Scary ay…We need an enforcer in the middle which Sam could definitely be. The only back rower better then Seyfarth on that list is KPP.
After how many years of being short there still not addressed in juniors.

seyfarth gets a start before Kit, Bird, Sukkar geezNo. Seyfarth needs to be in Cup to work on his discipline. With the backrowers we currently have in Sione, Sam, KPP, Twal, Bird, Kit, Sukkar theres plenty of firepower with less penalties and mistakes.
Crazy aye.. that's the tiger town way unfortunately, even though he's most likely a back up all year, I'm sure there going to put time and effort in to get the absolute best from him ,then most likely he will end up moving on.🫠dUNNO WHY WE DONT DO A 1 YEAR CONTRACT WITH A CLUB OPTION??
If he succeeds...hes off ewlsewhere..
Tim Sheens was pushing the culture of idolising youth and inflating their egos. It's true that we had a great crop of juniors 3-4 years ago, but Sheens was past it and didn't realize you can't pump their tyres that much and expect everything to be okay. He made so many promises about where they'd be, and how they'd fit into the system, none of which were realistic. Like you can't recruit a player of Luai's stature then expect him to base his entire game around some kid with no runs on the board. If the Galvin situation didn't happen last year he may have been a bolter to start round 1. I don't think they'll promote youngsters too soon now given they have more depth, unless they are an absolute no-brainer.
The kids these days get a little taste and think it's where they belong forever.
Was more discussing he wants to play 13.Love these stories. Player is training the house down looking fit. Looking at cracking first grade.
Was it Peter Lewis who was a reserve grader from Auckland who joined WT was talking about playing origin pre season re about 2001?
They are professional footy players right now they should be looking bloody fit.
Its why we are anchored in the bottom half of the compCrazy aye.. that's the tiger town way unfortunately, even though he's most likely a back up all year, I'm sure there going to put time and effort in to get the absolute best from him ,then most likely he will end up moving on.🫠
Sorry, but I disagree. I don't think he had much of a choice as he was trying to get some confidence in to a bunch of players who believed deep down that they were serial losers due to poor results over a long period of time. 2.5 years ago players were so scared to make a mistake they wouldn't pass the ball.Tim Sheens was pushing the culture of idolising youth and inflating their egos. Roberts is basically a prop. Think Ryan O Hara, Tim Grant. If he's lucky that is....Roberts might be more chance than mavrik geyer for 13
Given some time Sam, Kit, Tony will develop further along with Mav and Roberts. More to offer than Seyfarth IMO. The goal for development is to improve positional players each season, and whilst hes a toiler hes also hit the ceiling. I get the parochial love for the guy, but hes vanilla in terms of back row percentages in the NRL. Enforcers, great point. TDM, Bunty, Royce, Fonua need to be aggressive in the middle as any FR shoud be. Bunty might be a very astute pickup if hes ready to go.We need an enforcer in the middle which Sam could definitely be. The only back rower better then Seyfarth on that list is KPP.
What does he offer beyond those guys? I dont see it tbh.seyfarth gets a start before Kit, Bird, Sukkar geez

Hunt is looking fit, haven't seen any pre season photos of Bunty but hopefully the sea change has sparked a new found power . I honestly think those 2 with full fitness and effort could hurt and gas a lot of team.💪G

I'm not writing Kit off just yet kid is still only 20 & the game is moving towards smaller mobile forwards. The opportunity is there for him if really wants it.bird is past it
Kit will not make it
sukkar will not make it
Seyfarth tries really hard, defends pretty well abd can cover second row and prop
No way you dismiss Sukkkar either. We have spent a lot of time developing him and he’s a young kid with it all in front of him.I'm not writing Kit off just yet kid is still only 20 & the game is moving towards smaller mobile forwards. The opportunity is there for him if really wants it.
Really , mavrik better than anyone , he is lazy and doesn’t provide anything in attack , why do u think the panthers let him goRoberts is basically a prop. Think Ryan O Hara, Tim Grant. If he's lucky that is....
Mavrik a bit more mobile and skilful.
He doesn’t do much for me , can’t see him getting in the 17No way you dismiss Sukkkar either. We have spent a lot of time developing him and he’s a young kid with it all in front of him.
I don't get this logic. We have developed Sam on an edge, its expected he will have a breakout year and be our Olakau'atu, and you want to move him. I don't get it.Seyfarth needs to be playing 80 on the edge. Push Sam back to the middle.
How long has it been since we had 2 big athletic 2RF on both sides, leave them where they are, after all isn't that what we bought Bunty for to provide impact in the middle.I don't get this logic.
