Maybe we should sell up to Koukash

This is no bueno for me.

I'm planning on winning the Powerball Jackpot here in the US. When I do, I'm buying this joint out.

Shouldn't you be looking at buying another striker for Liverpool who is handy with his teeth instead Chris

The silence is deafening at present in Tigertown, I know Mayer basically said he was not going to the press with anything to their is anything to talk about, but like Happy I get the feeling their is something going on behind the scenes, and it well could be they are looking at a proposal put forward by Koukash .

Sure up our finances is a big step towards being a very competitive club year in and year out . If their are any proposals from Koulash, they would be worth a long look at IMO

I think the Melbourne Storm is already under new ownership. Correct me if i'm wrong though.

I think your right Tigermama - I originally thought the deal had fallen through but thinking back I do remember Melbourne announcing a consortium of businessmen had bought them out.

I think those buisness men wear pink on game days and disguise themselves as referees. There bias towards Melbourne gives them away I reckon. :roll :roll

Have viewed the Salford reds fans forum and there appears to be little or no negativity about MK's ownership. Salford appears to have gone from strength to strength since. I reckon that private ownership would be a great thing for the Weststigers along similar comments made by willow. All the Wests / Balmain football club infighting and associated BS would finally be put to bed, hopefully.
If any Wests or Balmain diehards wants to follow their old team then they can enjoy state or metro cup.
Marvin, come on down ( under ).

Now I'm sure I'm going to be brandished with a tin foil hat but does anyone smell a possible cover up …..........

Koukash has supposedly spoken to 2-3 NRL clubs

The independent board seems to have taken far too long too organize even for a group of the NRL's incompetence

Brian Smith is doing a report for the NRL possibly the report could be for other reasons ??

Potter has recently just come back from ESL (Not sure if Potter has had dealing with Koukash ?? )

Blocker comes out a month ago with a statement saying he knows something that will shock Tigers fans

That same evening we had a extraordinary board meeting "Supposedly " to discuss Potters future and almost all can't understand why Potter's job is under discussion

Then the CEO comes out and says Blocker is full of it and Blocker shuts up (not in his nature ,that's for sure Usually he spews crap all the time )

And the club seems to have come to a halt in making any decisions in regards to anything

Probably means nothing , but a few things seem more than coincidental

Especially seeing the Knights are the other side having trouble with the NRL getting together an independent board to take over

Adding to your conspiracy theory Happy - earlier this year Koukash's wife unsuccessfully bid to purchase the Bradford Bulls, the club previously coached by ….. you guessed it, Michael Potter. I have no idea what this has to do with anything - I just found it interesting.

Don't you mean the Potter thickens ??

Well, well, well.

For those who are interested, Mr Koukash has just contacted me to run his new club from next season. He wants a new name for the club but to keep a minimal reference to Balmain and Western Suburbs. He also asked me to put forward a fresh business case for the next 5 years.

The new name will be Westside Tahgers.

I will get to the BC later. One thing is certain. You will not hear any club news from a pre-recorded shoot of the footy show nor will it be on social media first.

Forevertiger, I'll need someone of your organising ability. The way you have managed the EPL tipping comp and stuffing up on a tipping error only 2 weeks into it!

You're in mate. I thinking salary cap manager

Grant Mayer wants to keep his job.
Let's have a poll.

I am listening peeps

cqtiger, can I conduct the first internal review…you may well be to well organised and I could disrupt things just to see how you and your hand picked board will cope....Happy I reckon will be your media officer :master:

Geez I think a new bandwagon might be needed soon with all the new passengers on board… might have to recalc the %

You want to sell the club to this Kouka$h bloke ? Sell what... you got nothing to sell... you don't own the club... the members of Wests Tigers only own a plastic pass...

I can guarantee that Wests Ashfield won't sell there half share in the Wests Tigers...nor should they after all the money & resources they have put into it over the years. It's no secret that they want to own the entire Wests TIGERS franchise outright. Why should they sell because one partner cannot contribute anymore...

:sign:

@Staks,the Tigers logo itself is worth heaps no wonder Wests Ashfield want to take the lot for themselves…unfortunately things haven't gone so well for the Balmain side of things, but talk about vultures gathering around as soon as the almighty dollar gets a mention....

Can't see how this would have been kept under wraps, somehow. Especially at the 'Good Ship Leak-Alot'
