Clearly no transparency from McIntryre about his intentions. Can't trust anyone to do what they say they are going to do, and contracts mean squat anyway.

Did he come to the club and give them a chance to match the offer? I think that is a question that needs to be asked.

Fair question, but Why wasn’t he signed over 2 weeks ago?

I do think that is a fair question as well, I wouldn't be sitting around waiting, I would have been onto my manager to sort it out. That is what he is paid for.

Seems to me the manager did his job, looked after his client. His pay is obviously not in question. But did WT execs earn their pay? More to the point.

Yeah they should have been on top of this, but its a lot of drama over a fringe 1st grader. I get this is symbolic of greater issues at our club.

When does off season training commence?
Very soon id imagine

I guess a lot of clubs rosters aren't settled yet

Tomorrow, Monday

In all honesty would you sit around wondering why they were dithering?

Maybe he was waiting to see what would happen with JAC.
No JAC = no Tigers roster improvement = join a club that appears to be on the rise.

Sounds like he couldn't wait to get outta here

Does Pascoe have a revolver in his top draw ?

Warden Horton style.

Pascoe would do much better with his negotiation skillsonce he gets a proper haircut.

What's going on there?
Is he going for one mini dread?

I've seen more from SuperMac than Kepeoa , Talau Blore ..even Mikaele based on 2020

When you have a very short career life span, and your current employer is hesitant to sign a new contract then some new employer offers you great dollars then you jump ship quickly.

The boys called him Madges love child and McIntyre was happy playing under Madge. The info I heard was Hartigan wasn't really a fan so maybe they've got somebody else on the hook 🤷‍♂️
I just don't understand why Maguire wasn't all over this, it's not like he was distracted with finals footy 🤦‍♂️

Yeah go join a club that is perennially in the bottom 8 and never had any success in all its years in the league, yet somehow has still been able to land some of the biggest name signings for next season! I’m at a loss really.

I will say this , if his replacement is billy Margoullious then I’m ok with that . That kid is way better and has been at every level , except first grade so far . Also it’s not like McIntyre was a junior , he was recruited off newy , so as much as I rated him , I don’t feel as bad , as he wasn’t one of our juniors . Maybe Hartigan didn’t recruit him so has a negative opinion on him based on that .

Doesn't make him anymore than a fringe 1st grader, along with the others at present as well.

Well you keep the best of them ......common sense tells you when every Sam , Josh ,JAC and Harry are bailing we need someone to throw a jersey on just in case

As much as us old blokes would wear the jersey with pride I'd expect to see our win ratio plummet

They strung some good wins together at the back end of the comp. Have signed some good players - there is appeal if you want success.

Well the footy structure shows that Hartigan is his boss?

Played my 1st game of OzTag on Thursday, got a try, I think I still have it lol

Of course he is a fringe first grader how many games has he played?Fact is Sam was one of our better players this season, tough defender and plenty of upsides to his game, player the club could afford, but failed in negotiations, this type of failure is just part of what is separating the tigers from the better run football teams

Every club needs a supply of budget to mid range contract players. Mac filled that role to a tee and we let him walk. Someone has to put their hand up and take leadership of this club as it crashing down at present. I am totally over the club at present

Is it really Madge’s job to deal with the contract paperwork?
