MCK

Massive Aloia fan.

Almost the whole team played poorly on weekend.

Lets face it. Tigers dont do great when they are favourites.

Brooks was my pick of the bunch for effort.

If line speed in defence doesnt return this weekend. We will get lapped

The strength and conditioning guys need to work on Aloiai to turn him into an energetic 80 min 2nd rower. The same way they stripped Marsters down for centre.

Can't see that line speed returning on the right without someone to lead it and that guy made way for MCK.

Definitely there is a place in the 17 for him. DId you see his runs and the metres he gains in twisting and stepping? He also is one of our more elusive players with the ball, looking to make breaks or unload. He is a very good player for our team.

He is certainly more effective off the bench though.

I wouldn't mind seeing him return after a couple of weeks to freshen his body up. He knows what he's doing out there and despite the fact he's not flashy in attack he's probably the best option for the team if he can last a solid 80.

This is MCK third club,

He still got limited time to figure out that he can be a beast….

It's his second club to make grade.
He played 20s at Canberra then left….

Was injured most of his time at Manly.

If we have money to spend, after fullback I'd go for a 2nd rower

YES!

We need an impact second rower or forward. Mats and Packer are tough toilers, but they are not denting the line hard enough. Merrin, Tolman, Taupau, someone like that.

Matulino and Packer are "toilers" so we should get Merrin or Tolman (?!?!?) for their hard running? Right…

Tolman? Running the ball hard? He's almost as bad as Woods.

I take your point. When he started at Canterbury and Melbourne he was definitely a gun.
Lately he has been so quiet. I reckon though he could just be due for a team change.

Kinda glad we have Reynolds on board. He can give us the inside scoop on the dogs players, who isn't worthwhile and who is.
