Melbourne are vulnerable

Considering they will have a number of key players backing up from SOO, their horrible record at Leichhardt and 20,000 screaming Tigers fans. I really think this is a game we should win. They are sitting in 2nd, but I think their form at times has been poor, especially against lower ranked teams (that scrappy game against Cronulla a few weeks back comes to mind).

Despite having four world class players (Cronk, Smith, Smith and Blair), they have a mix of journeymen and inexperience. Guys like Norrie, Woolnough, Thompson, Hinchcliffe are toilers at best. They then a have a young brigade of players who are on the rise but lack experience, blokes like Widdop, Neilsen and Duffie.

This is a GOLDEN oppurtunity to beat a Top 4 side, a feat which we haven't accomplished this season.

Youre right.
I wouldnt say we _should_ win, but we are a good chance, on our day we can beat anyone anywhere.
What happens with the 7 jersey will be paramount.

Melbourne haven't exactly set the world on fire this yr despite where their sitting on the ladder. They've had a lot of scrappy wins against the Sharks,Rabbitohs and Brisbane and have been beaten by the Raiders and Warriors.I think with a good preperation, sunday arvo at Leichardt and a sell out perochial crowd, the tigers are in with a massive chance.Just hope its not 1 of those typical Leichardt games that have all seemed to be the same over the last yr where they play like a busted for 60 mins and storm home in the last 20.Here's hoping for an 80 min performance next Sunday arvo

hopefully a few of the storm's stars get injured during state of origin 2

*gets out the voodoo dolls*

As long as we can fix our defense around the ruck.
The storm are the best team in the comp at working the ruck and even with a tyred Smith, Slater and Cronk they will watch the warriors game and most of our games this season and say we can carve these guys up the middle with our tight ruck attack.

Cronk outside inside for Slater and Blair up for a massive one infront of his future club.

We can definently win this but we need atleast a solid 60 min display let alone 80 min. (baby steps)

yes, some storm players will be tired from backing up after origin.
they won't back down one bit.
need to put in an entire 80 min concentrated effort for this game, other wise alot of wests-tigers fans will be very angry after the match.
be very wary of Adam Blair in this game, he may be out to prove a point of his ability and value to a team.

Yeah Storm struggled to beat Sharks at home after origin 1 .Hopefully they rest a few players . Slater ,Smith and Cronk would be nice Hopefully Blair has a quiet one as well but think he will wanting to prove he is worth 500 k

Yeah playing Saints having pretty much their entire team in the first SOO did not help our cause either. If the Tigers think they can walk and win they will be horribly mistaken.

We are moving in the right direction and anything is possible.

Fingers crossed

An excellent two week opportunity for the club to really cash in, weather permitting.

Massive crowd this weekend against one of the favourites. Hopefully get the win that will ensure a massive crowd at Campbelltown the following Friday against one of our fiercest rivals.

I just watched their game against the Rorters, and they seemed pretty clinical to me (without their origin stars). Widdup for them looks a future gem and he seemed in control.

But then we are at home at LO. Confident of a win.

This is as good a time as any to beat the storm.
Key players of theirs backing up after origin, tigers winning 2 on the trot (although unconvinsingly).

The biggest issue i see is this lay over in NZ, it's an unnecessary distraction.
Although some time away from friends, family and the media might just do the team some good.

Although our guys are showing a lot of heart at the moment, we have a lot of problems that are not being addressed, we are going to be found out by the stronger teams, probably much sooner than later, I see this game as a much more of an indicator than last weeks clash against the warriors. Backing up after SOO won't even phase the melbourne guys, they are too professional for that. If we can sustain a good 80 minutes it will go a long way to building some confidence in the team.

Even though our comeback yesterday was remarkable, the fact remains that a brilliant one was needed.

Melbourne are a top side even without the big three, who wiil be ther by the way.

At this stage I'm on us as we are at home but thats all. This game will be down to the wire as well.

We can't hand over cheap ball. No mistakes, high completion rates and no silly penalties. Melbourne are dangerous enough without giving them more ball.
