If you lose Tonight will you be blaming the loss on the 60 minute debacle ?

Not at all… It will be the continuation of the Game 2 Rort

Yep, focus on Origin like you should Cam. Screw all the bleeding hearts who are just using Mckinnon as a vehicle to drive the agenda against you.

I have nothing against Smith, nor am I a bleeding heart, but feel that Smith has behaved poorly, had he have came out Yesterday with an apology for how it made the McKinnon family feel he would have looked like a champ, enhanced his reputation and had zero impact on his origin preperation.

It would have cost him nothing, everyone would understand his situation and everyone would think more of Smith, it would almost certainly make the McKinnon family feel better.

As I said his reaction in the last few days as made me angry.

I also wonder what people would be saying if it was BIrd, Hodges or another with a lesser reputation.

maybe smith has already made a call to mckinnon with that apology?

im sure smith will speak when the time is right- that is post origin.

also, i dont think this is the last you'll hear of it- there is no way smith will want those at 9 to boost their rating even more by speaking to them.

the 3 things paul kent mentioned will happen but i agree with smith and his "advisors" that it should be dealt with post origin. the more you talk about it, the more focus will fall on it imo.

What was the game two Rort.
Was it Klemmer smashing those qld pensioner s all over the park, or Jennings, making their right side look like revolving doors, ? :roll :roll

There is suggestions that 60 minutes have re-edited what was shown last Sunday night and not what the Mckinnon's were shown .
That is absolutely appalling and very bad form from 60 minutes .
People were led to believe that Cam Smith was arguing with the Ref throughout the whole time Alex was getting attention which in actual fact the Ref spoke to Cam Smith after Alex McKinnon left the field and had to explain to Cam Smith the reason the Penalty was going against his team , which then as Cam Smith is the Captain of the Storm has a write to question or give his view to the Ref .

I actually agree with Smith that if he doesn't bend his neck the outcome that occurred would of not had happened to Alex but there is no doubt that this Day and age that is an illegal tackle and there is nothing that Cam Smith can argue about , but 60 Minutes have a lot of explaining to do making the Public think that Cam Smith was arguing with the Ref throughout Alex getting treatment .
Where i have marked in red below is what apparently 60 Minutes edited out .

Channel Nine's 60 Minutes edited out this quote when they showed Alex McKinnon the vision - "It's unfortunate and I don't want see that happen anytime in our game."

In the interview Alex is also led to believe Cameron has been arguing with the ref throughout the eight minutes he's been on the field.

However, as you can see in the video below, Cameron Smith does not, in fact, talk to the referee until Alex McKinnon has left the field. Watch the video below.

Now Listen To What 60 Minutes Played (Watch The Video Below)
In a moving interview with 60 Minutes, McKinnon revealed his anger at Smith's comments.

"Wouldn't you just shut up. You see someone with eight, nine people around them and you want to debate a f***ing penalty," said McKinnon, on Channel Nine.

"That's the Australian captain there … so well done ... it is f***ing ridiculous." Watch the video below.

As you can see, the quote of Cameron saying: "It's unfortunate and I don't want see that happen anytime in our game," was edited out.

Well well well

I think its clear now that the only one in this saga that's been ''ill-advized'' is Alex McKinnon by going on that gutter filth of a tv show. He now looks like an ungrateful tosser. Would 60 mins care?
Yeah right, they got ratings and people talking about them. There are no ethics in journalism so they don't care how they are perceived as long as they make money. I hope Whoever advised McKinnon to go on that show are proud of themselves.

In full context, those McKinnon quotes are way out of line and paints him in a very poor light. He might be the one that needs to do the apologizing.

And who is his father not forgiving? Are they still talking about Smith at that point? Even more laughable now if they were. And if they weren't, then obviously they're talking about McLean. Yes it was terrible, but that's the risk you run when you're a professional athlete. The day that Phil Hughes died, his sister was consoling Sean Abbott. The Hughes family don't hold any grudges, and their son was killed. Who knows though, maybe the pissant who was interviewing his parents deliberately got them worked up over it looking for an emotional response. Either way, his parents carrying grudges, especially the way they've been treated since is another poor look, and makes them looks as equally ungrateful as their son.

This whole thing was clearly staged to hype up the Origin decider (like it needed any more hype) and attempt to unsettle Cameron Smith & the Queensland camp. Channel 9 and the 60 Minutes Program should be ashamed of themselves for their blatant character assassination of the Qld and Australian captain and for using the misfortune and anguish of of Alex McKinnon and his family to do so in this unsavoury manner. The NRL should seriously consider revoking Channel 9's broadcasting rights after this season.

Cameron Smiths good character? He signed two contracts to rort the cap, is the captain of the team who brought us the chicken wing, crusher tackle amongst others, and now again shown to be a classless scumbag who was more concerned for a game rather than a fellow competitor.

His character wasnt assasinated, it was reaffirmed.

What will do me is there is video proof that he was looking on with grave concern, and had a quote which was blatantly edited out, and there are people who still think the story reaffirms his character.

But on the 60 minutes show , it showed you smith standing their with grave concern . And it showed you him saying to the ref " I don't want too see anyone in that situation"

The reality is he would never go out to intentionally to hurt anyone. Thats all in your head.

He is a competitor. He will win at all costs and works hard to achieve this.

I get your content with not winning, but the sooner the Tigers start adopting the attitude of the Broncos, Melbournes & Bulldogs that demand results, the sooner we will gain financial stability.

Smith is a Champion!

You are seriously arguing the systematic implementation of chicken wings, crusher tackles, working over the knees and ankles of tackled players, all now made illegal because of player safety, all of which came out of the Storm system of which he was captain, as not being deliberate attempts to injure players.

Your position on this is a joke, honestly.

Dont bother replying, I have no time for someone who wishes our team resorted to such low tactics.
