I wouldn’t call us Melbourne’s bogey side but we definitely have a better record against them than we should. We seem to push them quite often as well. They have 3 class players out and we should be competitive. It'll be interesting how Coates goes for them. Do they miss JAC or not ?

Weve seen a couple of times last season that Coates is as quick as JAC..about 10 cms taller..and arguably more athletic.
Absolutely next superstar..
And hes moved to Storm for less $$ than Broncos offered according to papertalk.

Beating them in Rd 1 or losing to them in Rd 1 won't tell us a lot about our year. The issue with us has always been consistency. Gotta stop thinking that it's the first game of the year. It's just one of the many that we need to play at 100%

Both great days. Any win against the maggots is great. The ones in 2010 I think it was at LO when Benji ran riot and the night game in the rain at LO a few years after that were up there with the best.

As much as we’re relishing playing them depleted, they would be breathing a sigh of relief that they drew us

Any other team, yes, but we are a bit of a bogey side for them. God knows why.
Not saying we will win, just wishing.

Are we? Last time we played them they put nearly 70 on us. I can’t remember the last time we beat them.

Year before we got smoked by 40 by them aswell, no way we are a bogey team for them

We have an above average record against Storm, we win about 35% against them, there are about 5 clubs above us. The Bulldogs have the best record of current clubs at 49%. Balmain has the best record at 50%, and Magpies unfortunately have a 0% record
