When you sign up for a membership right near the end before payment there are a few options like automatically renew my membership each season, receive promotional emails etc. The boxes are automatically checked and you have to uncheck them.

its really easy to miss I almost left it checked but just noticed before I continued to the next step

I got an email telling me that my membership would automatically renew unless I opted out but I did ask for the rolling renewal last year. I think it's part of the deal if you go for monthly payments.

Sideline , Just out of interest what did it work out last year paying per month?
How did they work it out last year was it ?
a.From the Footy Season March till September deductions or
b.From January to December Monthly deductions.

I didn't know they had such option as paying per Month , i just paid the $400 up front .
Good to know for the following year .

I guessed right, or maybe I remembered from last years membership… but really dont rememeber remembering
