haven't seen them since the st. anger tour in sydney and that was around 8 years ago!

I want a fair dinkum METALLICA - concert, not something resembling nickleback

When I saw Iron Maiden at Acer Arena (I think it was in 2008) it was either $100 or $150 for my ticket. They were there for 2 nights in a row. I went the first night. It was worth every cent. I wish I went both nights now because I heard they played a few different songs on the second night.

Stryker I think most of the songs Metallica will play will be from their newest album Death Magnetic but I wouldn't be surprised if they play some of the earlier songs too. I do like their earlier songs better too but I'll definately still go.

Saw them when I was in to their music in a really big way. 93 from memory

maiden were great! I went the second night, one of the best shows i've ever been to!
heard ticket prices for metallica are $150 for gold and $130 for silver :slight_smile:
and from the setlists i've seen majority of songs are older, but still maybe 5 from death magnetic
 
Hey guys. Who is going to one of the Metallica shows? 3 Sydney Metallica shows for NOV 2010 were sold out very quickly and I missed out on getting a ticket but they are now having a 4th show which will actually be before the other 3 shows.

It was a big slip after "…And Justice For All." Death Magnetic was a better offering than St. Anger though.

I don't enjoy listening to their self titled album anymore. I cringe everytime I hear Enter Sandman or Sad But True. They are the only two songs I truly hate by Metallica because they are the only two songs that Triple M used to play when I still listened to the radio.

Their first four albums are awesome, and Lightning, Master & Justice are all masterpieces. I often wonder what Metallica would be like now if Cliff wasn't killed in that bus accident.

I just bought my ticket for the September show in Sydney. Anyone who does want to go to the show in September better hurry because it is almost sold out already. The other 3 Sydney shows are sold out already.

I was actually on ebay looking for a ticket and I saw a ticket for the September date which I thought was odd. So I checked the ticketek website incase there was a new show that I didn't know about. LUCKY! I reckon it could be sold out by the end of today.
