Michael Jennings could yet end up at the Wests Tigers

we have enough of the unpredictable and perhaps with benji we do not need another in jennings and the cost outweighs the plus.

ahhh, he had a rubbish year, no doubt. im a big ayshford fan, but he was very poor. dont remember him ever breaking the line…that said, i also dont remember him ever getting any decent ball?!

i really hope he doesnt become my next collis. i had such high hopes for him but he faded into (blue, grey and white) obscurity. simply getting a pass and being tackled last season is very reminiscent of collis...i really hope he is the beneficiary of a new game plan, ie; marshall at 6 where he should be....

Jennings can be a gun signing if he gels well with the boys… If he becomes too much high maintenance then it would be a drain on the club in many ways

Who feeds the backline?
Who's job is it that they get quality ball?
The halves were buggered around all year….your description could apply to most in the team

It's a week before pre season can't see this happening. I started a thread back when all the dramas with Ryan and Heighno were leaving after I had spoken to someone from Wests Tigers HQ asking for some answers. When I asked what the situation with Ayshford was, he said he had spoken to Blake that day and he wasn't going anywhere. The rumours still doing the rounds even after Blake has confirmed he's going to be here for the next three years.

does anyone really think he is worth the money he is being paid.
maybe at 1/3 his current yearly contract, but not the full amount.

Either Simona or Thompson would be made more than adeaqate consistant centres in 1st grade spot this year. They would combine well with Lawrence and provide the good defence that is so nuch needed in the WT backline. Why waste good money on a hot and cold centre like Jennings? Spend any free money on bolstering the front row,

Couldn't have said it better.

Ayshford placated

BLAKE AYSHFORD was shopped around by the Wests Tigers to a number of clubs including Souths in an effort to snare Michael Jennings. New coach Mick Potter says he will be talking to Ayshford in an effort to reassure him that he is wanted. Tigers chief Stephen Humphreys says Jennings has not been discussed in recent times. Humphreys has had chats with Panthers boss Phil Gould about Jennings.

Well im not really sure whats going on at the moment i still have a feeling we might still get Michael Jennings.

I still have a feeling we won't.

Why is this thread even still open? There have been articles with actual quotes from Penrith officials saying he is going nowhere and even then the only ones who have made a serious play for him have been St George, which Jennings has declined anyway. No mention of us in this at all apart from media and fan speculation. Time to say goodnight, Boo Boo.
