this $$$$$ thrown around is startin to remind me of super league, the problem with big $$$$ is the length of contracts the players want too much comfort zone

ANSWER –buy young ROBERTS from newcastle he will not get a run there when gidley returns. Roberts is a solid player with a good kicking game and can tackle.

Don`t forget they have players such as Ben Barba, Josh Morris & Krisnan Inu who have the individual brilliance to beat their opponent one on one. We don`t have backs with this same ability, hence the reason I`m sure we are looking at Michael Jennings.

Makes you wonder how they have so many talented players under one cap.
Or is it our players aren't performing based on how much they are being paid…

Maybe because there are no halfbacks on the market?

**We have bought Braith Anasta to play halfback** & if we don`t stick with that idea we have arguably the best U/20`s halfback running around in Jacob Miller. If we were to look at a steady halfback with a strong kicking game and who can defend like a backrower then Trent Hodkinson would be the one to persue.

Sheens bought Anasta to play half back the new coach may have different idea's personally i would give miller a decent crack or buy a solid half eg a robson,keating,roberts type as i belive we have attacking flair with benji robbie and lawrence i agree another attacking weapon would be ideal but wouldnt payovers for jennings considering the talent we have coming through the ranks,hopefully the new coach will also use the white elephant that has been blair properly that why i hope we get walters all his experience with bris mel and QLD would be valuable.

i thought this was a pipe dream not worth thinking about, but was at a function earlier in the week at Penrith and a few guys from within the panthers organisation seemed to be giving it some creedence maybe there is something to to it….

I've been told he's staying although the money he would free up would be a big temptation to Gould,we will just have to wait to see what happens.

I don't doubt Penrith would be willing to offload Jennings, I just don't see anyone wanting him at that price.

But never the same injury… he has never RE INJURED a shoulder injury... its always been a new part of the shoulder. Each operation has been a success and done its job

i think if they are young enough injury shouldnt be to looked upon.. Richards was injury prone before he came to the tigers..and the rest is history…:slight_smile:
