Michael Jennings

Flash forward to 2013

AAP: Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens says new signing Michael Jennings has the potential to be "a great lock". "He's got the size and skill set to play at the back on the scrum. He could even back up Robbie at 9 if we want him to".

In other news, Sheens says new half back James Tedesco is a "born number 7". "He lost some of his speed with the knee reconstruction, but he's got the talent to play 7".

Meanwhile, Sheens will persist with Chris Lawrence in the second row despite the player seemingly regressing dramatically from the potentiall great center who burst onto the scene in 2006\. "Chris has the same body type as Gareth Ellis and I see his long term future at 11\. He could be the new Ellis".

Michael Jennings reminds me a bit of Terry Hill.
**when they have mind on the job, then can be very good players.**
outstanding in attack and rock solid in defence.

thanks 1974 , i had to wait a while but you came through in the end … perhaps the 3 of us should go to a match together :stuck_out_tongue:

does he have brothers at the club? and tbh i would preffer Michael Gordan but will not happen as he will go Sharks

It turns out that michael jennings does have a brother in the penrith U20s called George Jennings who i watched play on the weekend against manly. He played alright but i'm not sure about how good he would be in 1st grade though. However Michael Jennings would be great for us but the question how will our roster accomodate him?
