I just read that. I agree his career is over. He has also been performing great.

Now you know why.

Suck eggs Parra.

Yep. It's artificial performance.

Now to wait for the panic posts of everyone thinking Parra will go for JAC now Jennings will be off the books. You know they will come.

The NRL has suspended Michael Jennings after the Eels centre tested positive to banned substances, the league announced on Saturday.

Jennings has been provisionally suspended after returning a positive A-sample for Ligandrol and Ibutamoren and now has the opportunity to have his B-sample analysed.

He was tested on September 21 with the result received by Sport Integrity Australia on October 9.

Jennings had been set to play in Saturday night's elimination final against South Sydney.

"Michael Jennings has been stood down from today's game and ongoing training/playing responsibilities while the process runs its course, which under the policy includes the opportunity to have his B-sample analysed," the Eels said in a statement.

"The club has been in contact with Michael and will continue to offer him and his family our full wellbeing support."

The 32-year-old former NSW Origin centre and Tonga international signed a new contract with the Eels in July, keeping him at the club for the 2021 season with an option in his favour for 2022.

More to come.

Weird that it takes 18 days to return the sample result. Wonder if he was tested earlier in the season and came up clean? It won’t happen but if he is rubbed out for doping the Eels shouldn’t be able to just replace him for next year and the remainder of his contract, there should be some level of cap penalty.

I reckon he'll blame the dodgy prawns he ate at Parra Leagues Chinese restaurant.

Yes, prawns are much more likely than Eels.

So he gets banned by NRL for substance abuse and Eels free up their cap to go out and buy someone else? Anyone getting any ideas???
