Our last finals appearance was while Sheens was coach.
Our only ever grand final win was when Sheens was coach.
Our only ‘Potential’ option at this point of a replacement is.. Sheens.
Even if he doesn’t fill in as coach, I’m sure he has the pull to clean this mess up… at some capacity, why else hire him?

The lovers of failure and mediocrity formerly known as Maguire must be ecstatic. Another wasted year, but he has passion right? I have passion, maybe I should be the coach.

How loud can you yell out and for how long? Are you incapable of strategy and do you fail to punish poor performance and incompetent performance whilst also managing to frustrate emerging talent and ambition? Will you surround yourself with people that you feel totally and completely superior too that you regard as no chance to replace you in your current position? Will you enlist the media in a pity campaign designed to always deflect your terrible results as not your fault as the players are just unable to grasp your coaching brilliance and incapable of executing your flawless gameplay therefore the poor old coach (you) should never be replaced because you never had much to work with despite you signing the players that you have after missing an army of players that rumour says wanted nothing to do with your coaching? If you can say yes to all of this then you really should be the new coach of the West Tigers, welcome to Tiger Town… lights Camera, action !

Players haven't been playing for him for some time now. Getting worse each season with Madge. If it were me he'd be punted asap... But can't see WT doing it this early (unfortunately)

Like a true loser they will take the cowards route of waiting till the season is gone and dusted before making the most obviously needed change in NRL coaching history! How he survived to ruin this season is beyond me. We are a laughing stock, even non league people watch a bit of a tigers game and comment on how poorly drilled the team is. People laugh at the mistakes the team make

I still reckon that there is to much of punt Madge on here everytime these so called NRL players stuff up....
Its been said time and time again,Madge doesnt drop balls,miss tackles,give away penalties...he has said the team trained very well,unfortunately that doesnt convert to 80 mins of pressure these guys cant handle ...

Does Craig Bellamy get credit when players consistently deliver? And different players mind you...

Madge tried the Bellamy approach cursing at the team that did not work,
He then tried the I am you’d mentor approach but the players realise he is past it. He had been a dead man walking from last season but the board assumed would cost too much although extended his contract. Results will speak for themselves the players play like they want him gone lose next week and he will be.

The Board has to take the flak for retaining him.
