Kyle plays good with his dad. Kyle was good depth when he was at sharks with his dad.

I've said the story a few times but was at a game at lidcome reserves sharks v wests. Flanno was there and the calls and hand signals between Kyle and flanno was amazing. Sharks won. Kyle played a real tough controlled game that day to get sharks the win.

I’ve said it before Madge is Dean Pay has no chance. He’s gone at the end of the season 4 years and no real growth. I don’t blame Madge he’s on a hiding to nothing the squad is average. That said we have to try and pay big money for the best young coach Ciraldo or even Ryles to work with Sheens. Rebuilding clubs rarely have coaches that last 4 years.

Just my view but with a change of coach I'd expect significant individual improvement in our players.

We really have nothing to lose now. Doing the same thing for the rest of the year will be a disaster. Someone posted the Warriors could not have played more poorly - yet we still lost. At least if we get a new coach we will find out if they can lift under different direction.

Manly are playing pretty well. We are looking more like 16th place after this round. Madge would know his time is almost up. It's the life of a first grade coach, they know they are the first to go when things turn real bad. I hope things miraculously turn around but if they don't and Madge walks the plank, I actually think he'll breathe a big sigh of relief and understand he just couldn't make it work this time.

I respect your opinion TrueTiger but how is it that a new coach like Fitzgibbon comes to a club in an off season and now the Sharks look as well drilled as anyone. Crisp ball movement, players knowing where to be, good game plans etc. We are disjointed on every play. We dont even look like scoring. Our go to play is a kick across field with the hope someone catches it and scores. We get repeat sets and look lost. Its been going on far to long and something needs to change.

Sharks were building to this last year. Whoever was coaching them this year was going to have success. Their backline movements were as good as any side last year.

Better to cut the head of the snake now than wait for 10 or 20 weeks . Madge just seems like he has loss his way and the team is playing that way too , time to move him on and see how the team goes with a new manager with different ideas , if they don’t respond to a new coach then we need to weed out the drift wood .
