The club has 100 bigger problems then the captain, and our most consistently performing player.

Lets make Farah the scap goat though fo why we are a basket case. Id rather he be furious he are so bad then be happy and eat money like Lawrence, Galloway, Moltzen, Blair etc.

Yeah lets get rid of Robbie and watch us win the comp. Please! He should have left a few years ago but he is too loyal. Farah is a winner, and has a winners mentality. I know he is far from perfect but i dont blame him for the state this club is in.

Robbie needs to learn to be a winner off the field. You can try as hard as you like on the field if your teammates think your captain is a two faced troublemaker good luck with your dreams of winning.Loyal as in 4.5 million for 5 years aswell as a self declared allowance to hire and fire coaches as he pleases. No that aint loyalty pal.**But your loyalty to Robbie to the detriment of Wests Tigers is duly noted.**

Who are you going to tell, his mother?
Or maybe your good buddy , Mayer?
Now you are taking note of those who have the temerity to disagree with you?
In all your ranting and raving and finger pointing you haven't come up with a single fact that Farah pushed Potter or did anything else you are accusing him of - for that matter none of the others carrying pitchforks have either.
Could you kindly name the players who think he's a two faced troublemaker?
He may well have a big head and be demanding - just like 90% of the high profile players I have met over the years but his passion for the club can't be questioned.
Loyalty for Robbie at the detriment of the Tigers?
Haven't you bashed Farah enough ,Jerry? :deadhorse:

It is public knowledge Farah pushed potter(whilst Potter wasnt watching)Robbie said so himself on the interview with gus.You sit there saying who will I tell his mother etc.Dont you think thats a little immature(especially considering you are accusing me of ranting and raving)You know where this comes from?Or ranting or raving as you put it?Passion pal and plenty of it for My Wests Tigers and I aint going to see this club go under while some would rather bury there heads in the sand and blame the fireman instead of the arsonist.Mayer didnt get rid of Sheens and Benji didnt get rid of potter did they?My good buddy Mayer?I have never met the bloke. But I for one am absolutely loving the change that he is bringing to this club regarding new board structure and independent reviews etc. This club needs a big kick up the ass and Mayer is doing exactly what is needed so anyone who dreams of whiteanting this club from within can rack off.

Now you are trying to give Mayer credit for the new board

He had nothing to do with it . It was the NRL who instigated that. It was a condition for them bailing Balmain out. And I didn't think that the crop of kids that we have is Mayers doing , in fact Sheens had more to do with that then Mayer .
And if Tedesco's remaining at the club depended on Mayer , the only time we would have seen him play would have been when we play Canberra. I believe that it was Farah and payten who were responsible for him still being here.

You are getting even funnier than the real Jerry Seinfield
You call me immature when you were going to 'take note' of someones loyalty to Farah as being anti WestsTigers?
You bash the crap out of Farah ad nauseam in every thread and blow steam up Mayer every chance you get.
Then you have the hide to go on about passion for the club being everything when the bloke you are putting the slipper into is the most passionate of anyone.
Nuff said.

Not interested in getting into a name calling catfight with you CK.But let me say this.Let me go on record and say Robbie Farah the footballer is top notch.Robbie farah off the field re potter and others equals very poor. Why do you think it was nearly two weeks before Robbie fronted training again to front up to his coach and teammates.Cause he knew what he did was wrong.I have had my share of Farah bashing on this thread and a few others lately I will admit and I have stuck up for Mayer(and theres been plenty of Mayer bashing from others too to be fair) because my belief is that if you look at the timeline of major events over the past year our decline wasnt cause of Mayer(or Potter). Our season was ruined "THE DAY" the Tallis interview was aired on the day of the saints game(we smashed the dogs the week before). The day before this interview came out we were all on cloud nine talking finals and possible grand final after the saints game it was will we win another game all year. And it took a cronulla team playing its 37th player of the year for us to win the last round.I for one loved the review Brian Smith did and I think it will reap rewards for us down the track aswell as the new board restructure helping us to get away from all the Wests vs Balmain crap that has plagued the JV.Not to mention they seem much more business savvy than any other board we have ever had.We will finally have a new head coach that will have full reign of coaching staff and coaching decisions which should shut the players up and let the coaches coach. Not to mention we have the most talented youngsters in the game. These are all Mayer initiatives and that is why Im showing Mayer some love cause hes sowing the seeds of some very successful crops that we will harvest this time next year.Trust me.Just be patient with him.Anyways I have said my piece re Farah and Im done talking about him but I just hope he has learnt his lesson and acknowledges he made a mistake and he becomes a better person and as much a leader off the field as he is on it.To quote the greatest coach of all time Jack Gibson."winning starts on monday".

The Smith review that you are so fond of Jerry , Certainly was conducted at a great time for the club. And if Potter wasn't looking over his shoulder at that time , he certainly would've been after it . To run Brian Smith through the club at that time of the season was ridiculous and was probably the most destabilising thing that was done all year. And you think it's great?????
Have you read it ? . Someone else here was saying that no ones seen a copy of it and probable won't.
You're not telling Stories, are you Jerry ???????

We all feel for mp but the Farah bashing is a bit sad but each to your own opinions that's fine but here is a fact potters win percentage 31% FACT now imo that is not good enough his team selection of
2nd rowers on the wings letting go 2 genuine wingers mid season is farcical please don't blame our injuries Penrith were hit just as bad as we were mick may be a nice bloke but I would bet my balls that if he was at another club with that % he would be shown the door quick smart

Farah bashing???Are you serious???Remember the week before the St george game and we had just smashed the dogs(Potters game plan looked pretty darn good that week didnt it???)Then Wobbie gate comes out and the players as a whole throw the season. You think its Potter they were angry at ???Please try again.I see these players a lot and they go out in large groups you know who the one constant player missing is in all these social outings?????Yep Robbie Farah.FACT.

Where do you see our players? In pubs, clubs ? Are you reffering to club events ? Not all players hang out together, unless it's a must attend event, organised by the club. If you see them drinking at pubs and clubs then i think it's a good thing Robbies not there.

Tigermama Ive got to keep some of these details private.I know around half the team and a few of the players quite well.If you are that interested PM me.But I will publicly say this.Adam Blair is the real off the field captain of these guys WITHOUT A DOUBT.Some might have reservations about his on field performances but he is a leader of men off it.

Now I feel so much better about believing some of your rants,
I didn't realise who's presence I was in .

I appreciated your insight Jerry, 100% on your side on these things. These other guys will never see it so its pointless arguing with them.

Farah has even said that he regrets the way he handled the whole situation … Give yourself an uppercut Robbie Farah !!!

I tend to agree with a lot of the thoughts on here, but I still cant look past the fact Robbie is still our best player.

Further to this, it is also obvious to me that Robbie places a greater emphasis on his Blue Jumper than he does his Tiger Jumper [he still bleeds Tigers] and I'm starting to wonder how/what/why this became reality?

At the end of the day, the Tigers are not in a position to move on Robbie Farah as the impact on Sponsors will be too great 12months after the loss of Benji Marshall.

Maybe appointing a new Captain is the solution and allow Robbie to play his natural game, or does he simply need a coach who is prepared to say, "kid, I'll run the team on & off the park, you do you job as per my game plan"???

Robbie Farah was our best player up to and including Origin, his performances on and off the field after then left a lot to be desired, in my opinion Blake Austin was our best player over the full season

Agreed.

Who cares who the best player was? Robbie Farah is the club captain and that demands selfless and honest leadership. He failed miserably. His reputation is shot to bits.

In relation to Austin, don't confuse Effort with Ability… They are vastly 2 different things and are regularly confused on here!

I definitely had some doubts about Robbie's execution after SOO... I was watching some games thinking "why cant he show the same guile he does in Blue?". I get how important Rep Footy is for the players, but he needs to understand the expectations to turn up week to week is the reason guys like Thurston & Smith get a walk-up start in the Australian Team.

I still feel overall, he is hands down our best player. Hopefully things are better next year!
