Minus 3 Minus 2 Minus 1

3. Klemmer - Elite prop and the best to ever play for Wests Tigers. 19 runs for 186m and 34 tackles without a miss. You'd have to be a fool to think he'd be a bad signing.

2. Naden - The only back that really looked likely to create something on his own.

1. Ofahengaue - Picking up where he left off - good go forward, some second phase play and generally solid defensively.

3. Douhi. Took all the responsibility today, tried his best to lead but made a few costly errors in reading the defence and either needs to practice his goal kicking or palm it off elsewhere. Was hard to pick a best player they were all pretty pedantic today.

2. Klemmer. Had a great first half played the 40 never backed down, not a big meter eater but knows how to dent the line and didn't shy away from work in and around the ruck.

1. Simpkins. Was impressed with him today, didn't do anything extraordinary and that's what I liked seemed to have matured a bit this off-season, did his job not too little and not too much was a good first outing for the young guy, glad to see him still chipping away at a first grade spot even with Api there. Didn't drop his head.

In saying that it was really clunky in attack with no direction. It was great to finally have a forward pack that held their own, for the first time I can remember Naden got to stretch his legs today because of that bit of extra space. They'll improve over time.
