At this point I don't care. Let him go. We can get someone way better for 5/8\. Take your pick in this market.

I want you guys to remember these words when he starts tearing up for the Eels. I'm not saying I disagree with you, I just don't want to see his name on one of those '_Players we let go_' or '_What could have been_' threads.

We're not letting him go. The guy wants out. If true, not much we can do about it

Cya Moses, we can't afford Moses and Brooks

As long as we get Teddy, it will be all good, we now have to find a half, Cronk, Widdop, Townsend, Johnson, Reynolds are all off contract.

We should agree. They absorb his full contract and release someone we are after. Otherwise he has chosen to get off the bus, enjoy Ron Massey cup

No. We should make him play out the rest of his contract. We don't have a replacement and we don't have another goalkicker. Other players that have signed with other teams are still playing for their existing teams (eg Hunt) and we should make Moses do the same. It's to our detriment to let him leave or play him in reserves. He should see out his contract.

What a waste of money. Parramatta would be paying his salary immediately. We wouldn't be paying him to play there.

Are you content with having a halves combo of Rankin/Littlejohn for the rest of the season? We'll barely score a point let alone win a game. I still want us to try and win a few games this season and Moses is contracted to us for this season.

I've already written this year off. Check out my spoon thread.
2018 and new signings is all care about right now. We are in the box seat for getting some real talent. These opportunities don't up often. We can buy anyone now. Take your pick.

Crazy how much your opinion can change so quickly on a player. I'd have been distraught at this news a month ago, now I see it as a relief. It all but guarantees we wrap up the other 3 and gives us some coin to find an established no 6\. Someone who will be able to mentor Brooks. The more I think about his move, the more I like it.

The 3 years 3 million is a flat out lie I can guarantee that. Hisnoffer was in the 700k per season range

Hooper wouldn't be inflating figures would he…?

Make the self entitled punk play reggies for the rest of the year. On another note poor Teddy got rid of one grub of a manager & replaced him with another grub!

Technically, we didn't let Addo-Carr or TMM go. Doesn't stop their names coming up.

Gotta be looking at Widdop or Cronk now surely.

Tedesco is now a really important signing.

I think Widdop should be our number one priority (after signing Tedesco). I think he and Brooks would work well together.

Agreed, but everyone got to remember, Widdop had a terrible 2016, but has played a good 3 or 4 games this year. See how his form goes over the new few weeks.

Only release him for this year if we get someone in return. If not, don't budge. Club can't allow themselves to be taken advantage of.

And that's fine that you think that but maybe some of us would still like to see us win a few games this year. We're 5 rounds in.

Can we start a thread called" players that we should have let go two years ago".

In the same article Hooper reports that Woods and Teddy are as good as gone.

I'm the same. I want them broken up and I genuinely believe they will be better off without each other. Stale partnership.
Take either one and put a pro next to him and we will do fine.

Tedesco to the Roosters unfortunately makes a lot of sense.

It's going to be great viewing v Cowboys.
Moses wants out will be playing like a busted butt.
It's going to be a train wreck if this turns into a drama which it most likely will.

I've got my popcorn thanks.

The decision is NOT about money.

Bollocks.

Apparently the offer we tabled him now is $300k less than that offered in the off season. He has played like a busted the last 4 rounds and he has taken this offer before clubs readjust their rosters with Cronk coming on to the market.
