Mitch Moses

Surely we can find an 'A' grade club that will give him a spot for the rest of the season somewhere in our catchment area.

What have you guys got against our reserve grade players that you want to palm him off on them. I say drop him to a team that is playing at his level and that would be 'A' grade at best.

I say bring RANKIN back for next week, he is also kicking better than ? and will let Brooks play his own game and run the team.

Should not be released under any circumstances - DROP HIM!!!!!

Totally agree he should be in park football for the rest of the season.Stuff him and stuff Parra.

Rankin > Moses, at present.
I think we should drop Moses as he is only hindering Brooks.

I'm not the biggest fan of Rankin, but I think he's the type of player - or JLJ that should slide into the #6 and let Brooks control the show.

Moses too busy trying to be the superstar which is unneeded because LB is the captain of this ship.

x3 Could not agree more. He has clearly checked out. Maybe Auburn Warriors could use him as a goal kicker

His kicking game was terrible.
His game management and option selection was worse
and his attitude and team spirit even worse.

They should let a couple of those that he had a bit to say to line up against him in an opposed session this week.

Drop him and have another Farrah debacle??

Not sure the club wants more bad press at this point in time.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Dont think the situation can be compared.
With Farah it was divisive, a lot of people want him to stay at the club and play first grade but many others wanted him in reserve grade or gone.
With Moses it's almost unanimous, 99% of people dont want to see him keep playing first grade for us anymore.

The only people that will complain if Moses is dropped is his manager and Parra. But unless Parra trade us a player cleary wants we should not let him go to Parra.

Personally id rather see rankin out there and swap a forward for moses. Love to get gutho but that wont happen

LOL…Farah( no matter what you think of him, was a club legend)

The only people I could see holding up signs for Moses would be his manager and his deluded uncle.

But you're right, probably be blown out of proportion by the media.

If you blame Moses for us not winning today you need to get a life.

New member and first time poster and don't want to start by picking a fight but I don't read this thread as blaming Moses for our loss last night. Most comments are along that lines that Moses had a shocker. That's undeniable. Some posters are wondering whether it was just a bad game or a deliberate ploy on Moses' part.
Fair question I think. Personally I think it was a shocker brought about by total lack of interest but, given his petulance in recent times it's not unreasonable to ask whether it is something more sinister. If you can believe the print media he asked for an immediate release again this week and was told no by Ivan Cleary. He then proceeds to have a really bad game. Bad form or deliberate? I'm going to go with bad form but can't argue with others who choose to think deliberate.
Chris Lawrence got it right in the post-match presser. We made mistakes that cost us the game. We will learn and get better this year and, with good signings, will be even better next year.
Love the passion of most contributors to the forum.

Good post mate. Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy it…..it is never dull!

I can't comment about whether or not he lost the game last night as I didn't watch it. But he sure as hell didn't win it. $900K a year players (which he reckons he should be) would be expected to take games like the one last night by the 'scruff of the neck' and get you a win a la Jonathon Thurston/Cooper Cronk etc.
The guy is a dead set joke considering the money he is on.

My post was in regards to those people who said he deliberately threw the game - which is ridiculous.
Plenty of hate in this forum of late.

I find this funny. Has there ever been a player that is least liked. The only other player is Woods. I wonder when Tedesco will be added to that list.

Yep it was a very odd post which I didnt understand.

If he was having a go a people for saying that Moses deliberately tanked, then fair enough.

Im still not sure whether he tanked. As stated previously I suspect he didnt, but rather he just doesn't care about how we perform or anyone else. But that performance was so bad, it really was hard to tell.

Moses is not even worth booing or bagging. Better ignoring probably.

He is an average player.

Booing only fuels his mis placed ego.

I would play him off the bench and put Rankin at 6 if he serves up another performance like that.

I agree southern, he was loose as… He didn't really care but part of me sees the sprays he gave his team mates as a charade to make it look like he did give a crap
