Disagree - we cut free a cancer and saved cap money. Win win.

Playing him in reserve would be Robbie Farah 2016 all other again.

We gave in to a spoiled brats demands. I don't see that as a good thing.

Gotta disagree GNR.
I would have liked to see him in reserves as much as the next guy. But if this club is going to step out of the average and start portraying a professional look and system then dropping the kid would only be two steps backwards. The press would have a field day and we would be back in the press again for all the wrong reason.
I don't think we are giving in to his demands, I think we have a professional coach who is saying your such a small piece of the puzzle so it's time to run along now. This for more cements even more my belief Ivan is possibly the best thing to happen to our club. Him and Gareth Ellis!

The single most laughable sentence i have ever read. I actually find that offensive.

Talk about finger not on the pulse.

A solid demonstration of the accuracy of News Ltd reporting.

MITCHELL Moses arrived at Parramatta’s training ground just after 4pm on Tuesday, was assessed by the club physio, received some blue-and-gold training gear, then spent an hour with coach Brad Arthur.
Forty minutes after Wests Tigers officially confirmed Moses had finally been released, the playmaker was already learning about life as an Eel.
“We did a bit of video, went through some of our plays and calls, he’ll go through it again with the team, but we wanted a head start,’’ Arthur told The Daily Telegraph.
“He bounced in, he was excited, and I think he’ll play with plenty of energy on Saturday.’’
Moses was named in the No.21 jersey for Parramatta but will definitely start at halfback against the Raiders.
Tigers fans will be gutted their playmaker will not line up against Brisbane a night earlier, especially with the early return of skipper Aaron Woods from injury a welcome morale boost.
The Tigers made the decision to grant Moses his release over the weekend after his defensive shocker against South Sydney. They quickly realised keeping Moses around would do them more harm than good.
Some at Concord maintained Moses’ ego was still bruised after it became clear the club’s priority was to sign James Tedesco and Woods. That pair will also depart at season’s end.
Moses was even instructed to stay away from training on Monday, especially with the club all but convinced the Warriors would allow Tui Lolohea to join them immediately.

While the Tigers await Lolohea’s arrival, they will persevere with Jack Littlejohn in the halves. The club are also monitoring the Cody Walker situation at Souths after it emerged last night he was unhappy.
Arthur and Parramatta were the big winners with Moses capable of becoming one of the most exciting playmakers in the game. He will cost the Eels around $250,000 for the remainder of the season.
There is no clause that will require him to sit out the round 20 clash against the Tigers.
Arthur said Moses would ‘’fit straight into our systems and structures’’, and complement Corey Norman’s own game once he returned from a knee injury in the four to six weeks.

While Moses’ departure was almost expected, so was the official announcement of Russell Packer on a four-year deal.

I wonder how long before Mitch starts throwing in the boot. Parras so much more professional, tougher training etc. those leeches at the DT will be sniffing around for this in 3 or 4 weeks time.

Obviously they don't know our fans too well… One look at this thread would tell them what most fans think about the move...

Wikipedia is so fun. I just updated Moses and Woods
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitchell_Moses

Good one kid. Needs to be quoted because I'm sure it won't last long:

Mitchell Moses (Arabic: ميتشل موسى; born 16 September 1994) is an Australian who is a massive cry baby who currently plays for the Parramatta Eels of the National Rugby League, he previously played for the Wests Tigers who are the best team in the National Rugby League. Moses primarily plays left right out. Moses is a rubbish collector representative.

With Moses gone I reckon that's two less tries we'll concede on Friday night.

we would have been gutted if he had been playing actually

I'm with you on this. I think letting him go without any financial compensation or player swap makes us look spineless.

I'm on this side as well. My gut feel is that this comes down to Moses stating he is having mental health issues. This guy is a pathetic human being and will use anything to get his way. He is a disgrace to people that do actually suffer from mental health issues.

I disagree. He has become a cancer and his negativity and bad attitude could easily spread through the team. Whether we got something or not, it was in our best interest to get rid of him asap.

Gotta love the media. Out of all that our positive press is a throw away about how the signing of Packer was expected.

For what it's worth, Moses could end up killing it at the Eels, but it was beyond repair here. The biggest positive out of the whole big 4 stuff is Isaac Moses loses plenty of traction at our club, and one would think any possible chance Elias might have wanted, prayed for, or pinned his hopes on of having the slightest, most minute bit of a role with us has been flushed away with the other filth.

Isaac Moses may have vowed to bring this club to its knees but all he has done is help it purge, and quickened the road to recovery. Thanks for saving us from overspending on underachievers 👍

Tend to agree with you 05TIGZ. Negative people within a workplace let alone a team is cancerous. They need to go. We recently did a business management seminar and this was brought up. The psychological impacts negative people have on other staff is quite unbelievable. It can literally turn into a domino effect across any workplace very very quickly. Attitude, performance,'motivation, working relationships, you name it.

Whilst it'd be nice to be compensated in some way(who knows we may be?) the ongoing issues surrounding how Mitchell is behaving isn't worth the drama. The kids an idiot and a disgrace in my opinion. He doesn't deserve to wear the jersey even in State Cup.

Mitch has done a lot of damage to his brand the way he's carried on over the last month.
Good riddance.
Take Isaac and Benny with you.

I just had a mental image of Moses playing for Parra this weekend, anyone else thinking, once he dons the blue and gold, he's going to be the spitting image of Daniel Mortimer?

The way he has carried on throughout this whole saga has been pathetic and disgraceful. I can't believe he isn't embarrassed by his own behaviour, but I suppose that is a reflection of his unabashed big headedness and ego.

When I read Russell Packer's words on how grateful he was to the Dragons and how hard he intends to work for them for the rest of the season, I couldn't help but think about how wrong people can be about a person's character.

I know which one of them I respect the most and who I would rather have representing my club and wearing our colours!
