OMG….Benny...what an embarrassment...Mitchell would have re-signed for 3 years on less money if he was told he was a priority...bwahahahahahahaha....wow ...not even stupid people would buy that one...

100% what about the little fact that the contracts were available for about 6 months before they pulled it.
Go and pull parras chain

Was a struggle for him to sign the one year option in his favour so that 3 years comment is hogwash or he would have done a deal for 3 years last year

What a joke, then to follow it up with Cleary drove Teddy, Woods and Moses out is a disgrace

When Elias speaks, you can almost see in his face that even he knows that no one buys what he says. An embarrassment to the game,

He really is an unlikable sort of bloke, isn't he? He was an awesome player and he would've remained a rugby league legend to me if he just kept his mouth shut after he finished playing the game. He has made himself look like a goose of the highest order with some of the idiotic statements he has come out with over the years. I honestly think he must have a screw loose somewhere!

I used to love 360.
Dont watch anymore… Seriously considering ditching foxtel

I have found the nrl app much better value, especially if you can't be on the couch for all the games bit want to keep up to date.

They have really turned me off too, between kent, the lumberjack and uncle ben.

I had to laugh when Mannah mentioned professional when speaking of Moses. Usually I have time for Mannah but did he really think before he made the comment.

Mannah and Moses have the same agent, so Timmy is merely towing the company line.

Benny Elias is on NRL 360 tonight, so get ready for some outlandish defence of his nephew and some more stones thrown at the club.

The more Benny speaks the further it damages the reputation of Mitchell. Let's sit back and watch as this implodes.

Just as an aside, Moses leaving the Wests Tigers and joining Parra might set a bit of a record:

He becomes the first NRL player to play the same opposition team 4 times in a single regular season.
He faces the Rabbitohs 4 times this year.

So why didn't he re-sign last year rather than just taking up an option in the hope of milking more money out of someone. I wish Benny would just go on a long holiday and never come back.

Is there also a record of a club scoring the most tries in a season through running through the crap defence of a single player? If so, I think souths will break it this year

Yep.
Watching it now on IQ, it's even worse than I imagined. Elias is a laughable fool.

And why didn't one of the curious journos ask that very question?

Agendas. Agendas. Agendas.

That is the most annoying part about the whole charade

This gave me a chuckle.

I realise that your opinion has to be regarded as Gospel, but when I last heard , I believe it was Cleary who was in charge of saying who was staying and who was going , when Moses had the hammer droppedon him. And his offer pulled. Yet you include Cleary as one who kept Moses here.
He was onlyhere until they could get a good deal by letting him go.
Cleary has spent a lot of time since he arrived in looking for another player so he could get rid of Moses. Maybe you didn't notice.
The amount of faith that Cleary wasted on Moses was zilch.
Now let's see …who were the others you mentioned. Potter and what's his name again,......Taylor. Sorry, I forgot.
You were saying something about well regarded Coaches. I know you wouldn't be referring to them , so I must have missed a line somewhere. :roll

Cleary didn't remove Moses he down-prioritised the negotiations. Moses has been named in every match since Cleary started until the day he got a release.

Neither of us know what is in Cleary's mind, I'm just going off the facts.

So yeah 3 consecutive coaches (plus Webster if you want to count like the DT) played Broses together starting halves, but you think that was a mistake. 3 professionals and you.

I'm sure that even you don't believe the bs that was in that post, now we have The night watchman lowergrade Coach who had no say in who stayed and who didn't . Being another of your "well regarded Coaches.
Funny that your well respected coaches aren't in charge of any First grade club, maybe they're not as respected as you think
The only decent Coach that we have had since Sheens , got rid of him as soon as he Realised what lengths the spoiled brat would go to he dumped him even before having a replacement arrive.
Clutch at as many straws as you like , but the truth still is that the first well respected that we've had in years. Didn't want him here And has now cut him from the club
To use your own words
You really have no idea

Dont blame ya mate I had enough a month ago and cancelled mine.

I called them up and they asked why I wanted to cancel and I said "because of Hooper and Buzz" and they asked "who are they" and I said "exactly!!" :brick:
