Molt7

Moltz is an enigma..
when taking the ball back from a kick he will always look to pass to his winger and put them in danger of getting crunched. Last night perfect example when he passed to Tiquiri in the ingoal.
As someone said it took 3 hit ups from the wingers to then make it to the 15mtr line.

But then when he is on the attack and can see the try line he won't pass it. Go figure..

Would Moltzen be a noun or an adjective ??? Suppose it depends
I thought it would get more used as an adjective

Check a kick return at the 68th minute. Benji, Ayshford and Tiquiri quickly realign and provide options for him to pass. There is no overlap so he takes on the line.

He is passing less on kick returns, but sometimes his selection is off. Generally playing well, although the improvement has been in recent weeks against teams playing for nothing.

what an embarrassment this thread is.

Gutless? A cat? Some of the posters here should take a long, hard look at themselves

How else do you explain what he has done continually this year when fielding kicks off our line?

GUTLESS WONDER!

I would say timid.

Gutless is a big call on anyone who crosses that white line

And how many first grade games have you played ?
Comment on or criticise his play by all means , that's what the forum's for -but you wouldn't have a clue about anything else.
Funny how if you listen to ANY footy show they all say how good he is going but on here so many hate the fact that he's in the team.
Everyone to their own I suppose :unamused:

what a joke of a thread

cherry picking at it's finest
well done, take a bow and get back to your cave

Do you actually watch the game? Or do you watch it with rose coloured glasses as far as Moltzen is concerned?

He was diabolical. He will cost us one of the semi's. What you see in him I cannot work out. Does not claim the high ball, does not run it back hard of fast, always looking to unload to his wingers (or anybody else).

Will be glad when he leaves and I can breath easy when a ball goes to the back.

The most overrated footballer at the Weststigers.

I would love to know what Skando said to him after Moltz scored his try, I can guess he might be running a few more laps this week!!!, Skando didn't look too happy.

and if you listen to ANY footy show they all say how well Lui is going, yet that doesn't stop you from being his no 1 critic and hating the fact he's in the team does it?

:roll :roll So you are letting everyone else make the comment for you? How about forming your own opinion??
Moltzen is a massive liability in the Tigers side. He is weak, and gutless and never, ever, ever, puts his body on the line. Someone like that is not a team player and is not the right person to have in a team environment.

I have played 0 First Grade games, but I have been to Timor and Afghanistan for work. Does that pass muster with you? And let me tell you, if I were to be deployed again, a person with the mental fortitude and gutlessness of Moltzen would be a liability to any man he was alongside.

Funny if somewhat harsh.

Moltzen was a mixed bag last night. His pace is handy but his positioning of players was poor.

Hopefully next week he steps up again and plays a blinder

lol that's funny stuff, however I do think people are going overboard a little at the moment, his game has improved, although I think it went back a step last night. The lack of passing just annoys the hell out of me, especially that try he scored he nearly butchered.

He let a bomb bounce, and we nearly conceded a try

Gutless, timid, call it what you want, as a first-grade fullback that's unacceptable.

He is getting better. Tonight was one of his best performances of 2011…yet many on here want to bag him....i don't know what that says.

If you said that about last week, I would have agreed with you, but last night he was rubbish.

He is no doubt a liability.

Hopefully he can put some form togther for the finals, just a couple of good games would be nice….earn some of those dollars for a change.

Look I have been a staunch critic of how he plays but his pace was a great asset last night.

Yes he made some errors but I would prefer him make them now than in a few weeks time and that is my hope.

Like it or not he will be a major player in our finals campaign and he deserves everyone getting behind him
