Molten

Timmy should be our supersub off the bench. He has never been confident under the high ball

A nd Moltzen to state cup shaking hands with Fletch.
Go and learn how to play rugby league with BRE
So Alf , what if supersub has to replace our fullback or two wingers ?

Decision making? PLEASE! He didn't want to even contest a bomb, that is ridiculous?

Even Utai would.be better at fullback. At least he would TRY and catch the ball.

Well, Utai? I dunno, but i sure as hell hear you on the catching thing. Look lets be honest here, we would bag him for not catching if he tried and failed, but jeez, just try and fail, that would be a step forward!!!

Totally agree….he could come on when required, be it 1 minute into the match (Benji...a few years ago) or with 3 minutes left ( ask Brown or Meaney about that one!)

He was dreadful tonight but he's probably still the obvious choice at fullback. Unless they promote the NYC kid I'm not sure Meaney/Ryan/Lote would do much better

He was shocking tonight.

Just an idea and not an excuse here, maybe the shot he took last week dented his confidence a bit at the back? He strikes me as very much a confidence player and it could've had quite and effect. Certainly his efforts tonight weren't up to standard.

My problem with him is that he can do it. He proved that tonight again late in the game when he leapt and took a screamer. Last week he took a great catch with 2 burley forwards bearing down on him. He can do it.

As for his attack, he is our second most dangerous runner. He needs to be on the field for this alone.

He just refuses to attack the ball sometimes though. I dont know why…it doesnt make sense because he can do it.

Moltzen suffered a severe head injury before he joined the tigers… I'm certain he is psychologically scared from that injury.. He is gun shy as a result... Fact

Aaaah I saw him tackle Tony Williams head on classicly, shoulder right in the midriff…..he knew then what was coming, the metal plate in his skull didnt worry him then....tonite he was looking at Lote with pleading eyes, eyes that said "please ...you take it" twice, before he watched it bounce

He can def do it, we have all seen it, but it aint worth shit if he doesn't want to produce it. I'd love to sit here and support Moltz, but i just can't on tonights form. On tonights form you're a passenger, waste of a position and a liability on the team, turn it around and earn your money, or go play for Wyong, it's up to you. Have you got it?

Well, if he's a confidence player, I hope he doesn't read this before next week!!
I banking on him having a 2 try screamer in the near future and then I can watch the silence on this forum.

Just seems like sometimes he doesnt want to play…
He wouldnt run or kick when at halfback (Humble is doing double what he was)
Now he decides he doesnt like the bombs
Maybe 14 is his go....that way he dont know what hes gotta do until he gets onto the park and has to do it, doesnt have to spend all week having it do his head in

He was awful, don't know what's going on, he was pretty confident in that spot at the back end of last year.

What happens to these guys in the off season, do they just forget what they should be doing or something?

We seem to have woeful preparations to start the year.

imo he just isnt a first grader .We can go searching for reasons why ,but at the end of the day he is too inconsistent to be called a first grader.
Slater is a champion who can make a few errors in a game but then back it up with some brilliance. If Moltz is down he stays down.He iSNT a halfback ,isnt a fullback will never play 5/8 or isnt a winger so maybe centre is his go.
Moltzens performance last night was the key reason we lost .No more excuses for him .

Look I abused him as much as everyone else their last night. But in the clear light of day - he messed up 2 bombs - yes he should have gone for them as he is the fullback - other then that though he played well. He is the best choice at fullback, he had a bad night under the high ball - im sure it will be practiced hard all week and he wont make the same mistakes next week when Luke Walsh peppers him with high kicks
