Moltz

I think we need to cut Moltz a break and see what happens in his comeback. He would be the first to admit that he has a big task and a lot to prove when he comes back. I just feel people are willing to give teddy time to comeback from his and Moltz was still coming back from his knee reco. He can cover many positions and 5/8 is his favourite!! Way better option than braith and when Moses comes in tommy can fill the utility.

At 5/8 I wouldn't mind him - considering he's not a dominant personality it might be a good pairing with Brooks next year.

Anything to keep Anasta off the pitch.

Moltzen was actually pretty dangerous when attacking inside the 20, certainly offered more than we've seen from Anasta (and Benji over the past 18 months).

Problem i see is that he would be unlikely to get a proper offseason there and his knee may not be right until halfway through the season (if ever)

Got to say, if we have the option to dump Anasta and use Moltz in the halves we should do it.

I mean why carry both of them? Moltzen has a longer contract, might as well use him.

We don't need Good Time Sally's who are all over it when there is glory to be had but hiding out back when the hard work is to be done.

We have had that and it doesn't work and Moltzen is one of those guys.

On the comparison with Teddy  Think about their performances in their come back season from knee recons. One has always given his all and is improving as he gains confidence. The other is Loltzen

I'd keep Moltzen as long as we're ditching Lawrence, Ayshford, Anasta and Marshall. It'll be okay to have an experienced option at 6.

If we were going to see anything out of Moltz we would've seen it. If he has an offer elsewhere then we shouldn't stand in his way. We have a heap of guys who could do his job from Brooks, Moses, Rudolph. Even Mulcahy would be a chance of being as good as Moltz.

Regarding the last paragraph, 100%, they are exact opposites. I am very reluctant to bag players, but with Tim I found myself shrugging and shaking my head most times the play came to him.

Whilst I also enjoyed him making breaks or scoring from offloads, overall the ledger was way against his favour. Hate to say it, but very little heart.

Moltzen needs to stay or what are we going to [This word has been automatically removed] about!

ok female dog about!

Not sure how he'll go without Benji-ball being the staple anyway.

I suspect Potter is going to try to intergrate a more rigid, disciplined style of football, considering the amount of prop forwards he's investing in, and I don't think Moltzen fits that style.

For this reason, I'd be happy with Wallace being brought in.

As for Anasta- I'm not sure he has a defined role at this point, and with the team not putting in, he's looking even more out of place. That said, I'm not convinced he doesn't offer something to Brooks next year if he's designated as 5/8.
