Whatever he is..its not a FB..so good luck to him..buts its going to be tough with a rookie 5/8..I am not a great fan of Moltzen , but this is a huge opportunity, he doesnt have to win the game ..just put in.

Whilst I don't disagree with this selection, the only long kicking I have seen from Moltzen in the last 5 years is kicking the ball out on the full from the kick off, which he has mastered.

I think it is a good move. Moltzen will need to take the line, be direct in attack and generally be a livewire.
Miller is gone in my opinion and will be released end of season to Hull FC unless something changes. The future is Luke Brooks which we should see come into the picture end of the season.

I'm not sure we'll get anything great from Moltz in the short term, but bloody hell, wouldn't it solve some problems is he came out and had a blinder.

this is what im hoping for.
i assume farah will have some respect for him as a half (considering sheens had him train there for quite a while + he's experienced first grader).
i also think given injuries moltzen will step up and lead. he's learnt to talk/yell from the back.
maybe im setting myself up for disappointment, but i am expecting good things this weekend.

Could b an awesome move as long as farah let's the halves b halves and he concentrates on his job( moving the ball forward !!!) needs to stop controlling the whole game! This season the only time I've seen our halves get the ball is to kick.

100% agree - robbie needs to start creating gaps around the ruck for Tedesco and the forwards - get back to his normal game - Moltzen has the pace to create problems one or two out from the ruck.

My biggest concern is either Moltzen or Sironen or both of them going missing throughout the game. They're both quite inexperienced in the halves and it's going to take a huge effort for both of them to stay in the game for the full 80 minutes without either of them fading away. Either way Saturday will be a huge test of character for both Moltzen and young Siro.

Actually played at 5/8 in junior footy. So a natural halves player - he was good in 09/10\. But didn't give us much in 11 when he played there.

**This** + **this** hopefully might = a positive move.

Time will tell

Quiet happy with Moltz and Sirro being selected my only worry is Utai, Prince and Wallace are going to have a field day with him continually bombing him with the likes of hodges and co contesting the high ball and easily beating Utai he should never be aloud to play first grade again , I like the look of our forwards though.

He needs to use multiple options. Run at defense, create doubt. Then utilise his passing game to take advantage of this.

Miller didn't do much. Benji relied too much on short ball for forward to hit it up or center. Sironen usually just hits it up. Let's see if Timmy will give us a nice balance range of options. Run, pass, kick.

Utai & Ayshford swapped round on a few last tackles the last time he played didnt they?
Im sure I saw it at least once

If we defend WELL…..we limit the amount of times they are kicking in an attacking position and on top of the recievers when they get the ball

We also need to give our wingers and fullback more protection when the ball goes up

Funny how its all Utai when 2 days ago Tedesco couldnt catch a cold

Moltzen seems to have been blessed by injuries to key players that see him hang on to a first grade spot. Maybe time is running out as he moves on to his next position at half. I don't think he will get the fullback job again. He is not in the two top wingers in the club and he doesn't play in the centres. Benji is also to come back. Time to perform. He trained as half last year and did again at the start of this season. Hopefully he is recognised for his contribution or punted for his lack of.

Happy to see Moltzen get his chance, hopefully he will go well. I like the look of this side, even given our injuries I think it looks good and it shows we have depth .
This seems to be a well rounded side…looking forward to seeing them have a go.
