I don't read Moltzen's selection as a problem for Miller. Remember, Miller was dropped and Potter said he had things to work on and that this development wasn't of concern or surprise. Now since then, Miller has had just one game in state cup due to a bye and last weekend's washout. Now one game is hardly convincing enough for Potter to pull him back in. We should be applauding Potter for holding his stance on Miller;
a) because it tells Miller that there's no easy way back other than through hard work and persistence. Something he'll thank Potter for in the long run should he return. And,
b) It sends a message to all players that you need to warrant your spot. It is not yours to own. Now some may draw this conclusion and line it up with Lawrence or Blair but remember those two are internationals and deserve just a little more faith.
As for Moltzen, well I just hope his experience now leads to a more composed performance in the halves compared to last time. It's an opportunity to do well and if he does, Potter may well be tempted to keep him there.
