You're surely joking… 😱pen_mouth:

maybe he means he can kick long? which is definitely true given his kicks out on the full from kickoff

Funny beacuse it's true, how many time has he done it this season already, especially off the back of a try, lord help me. Hope he carves it up and gives Potter another SOLID option in the halves. This is Curtis and Tim's big chance on stage to shine, make the most of it boys.

I hope he kills it.
Silence the haters.

I would love nothing more than Moltzen to have a blinder and he may well do. The problem with Moltzen is his consistency, one week he will catch every high ball sent his way, the next week, it looks like if he catches the ball he will get the plague and lets it bounce or something stupid like that.

I hope too Demps he offers something this week and the following weeks as well.

Now just leave him there (barring injury) then he can team up with Benji when he gets back. Let's be honest, the Tigers are not going to set the world on fire this year so give the Marshall/Moltzen pairing the rest of the season. Keep to something for a change. It will also give Tedesco most of the season at FB. Its's that simple.

I see him and Sirro switching roles (and farah too) - hopefully Moltz plays mainly 5/8
He can create gaps, put players thru holes and he does possess a decent pass close at the line, weve just hardly seen it
Hope he goes well and really barks orders (give em a cuddle when they screw up tim, not abuse)

It's become popular on here to jump on the bandwagon and bag Moltzen for the slightest thing.
Yet there was a recent thread asking opinions on who was our most consistent back this year and his name came up more than anyone else (yes, I know there's not much competition for that title so far this year)
Also been mentioned he has been lucky , through injuries , to keep his place in the team.
In fact , the opposite is true.
There is NO other player we could have used who could start at half , centre and fullback and also handle switches midway through games to five eight or wing.
That's EVERY position in the backline in first grade.
He has been forced , at times , to give up chasing a permanent spot for the good of the team - and his teammates know it.
Even in young Sironen's article where Moltzen said he'd like to have a decent shot at half he went out of his way to praise Tedesco and wish him the best at fullback.
Most probably realised Tedesco was starting to cop some flak while having to learn a new position - deja vu perhaps?
Anyway , I hope he goes well with young Sirro outside of him and Tedesco finally shows us why plenty of good judges rate him.

At the start of 2012 the Tim Sheens preferred spine was:

1\. Tedesco
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
9\. Farrah

Due to various injuries, this was only tested for half an hour in round 1 last season. If Tedesco and Moltzen can stay at fullback and halfback respectively when Benji returns, we might get to see whether Sheenius had it right in march 2012.

Of course back then our backline included Beau Ryan and Lote Tuquiri, so this spine will be down on attacking options.

But know we have Marika who I rate 20 times better than what Lote was in 2012…
