Moltzen back round 25

TIM Moltzen is on track to make his return from injury before the year is over.

Our spies tell us the talented playmaker is recovering from his knee reconstruction ahead of schedule and now aims to be available for top-grade selection should the Wests Tigers reach the second week of the finals.

Hmm interesting. I didn't think they would make a big change to the team like that though during the finals when he has been out for so long. Maybe he can get a game in the NSW Cup first and see how he goes.

It won't happen. He'll need to time to get his confidence back and it won't happen in the semi-finals.

I can't see him walking into the starting 13\. Maybe on the bench is an option, so that won't be a major change. Tim can cover every position in the backline without having to do any shuffle to accommodate him, unlike Daneila or Brown…

I'd be worried about his confidence though, as I feel Moltzens ability is based 60% on his confidence...

does everyone think after snapping his Acl that mentally he would be ready to play finals footy??… i think with no match fitness and confidence give him the rest of the year off

I hope hes going to be 110% for next season though!!

I cant see anything negative about Moltz back early.

He is by far our best 7 option…...and as said b4 he can cover any backline position,so if Sheensie doesnt start him he is an ideal backline reserve option.

Im sure he has been exercising hard and hasnt been eating too many donuts.

It'd be silly to expect him to step up in the second week of the finals. He may be aerobically fit but definetly not match fit and his confidence will be extremely shakey.

He would be taking the spot of someone more deserving and ready to go. Take your time Tim, we'll need a big year out of you in 2011.

If he is back by rd 25 then its great news!

To me its simple, have him play State cup and then in the finals, have him come off the bench as our utility.

Surely it cant be any worse then having Daniela there who only gets 5 minutes a game anyway.

So to me it wont hurt one bit if he comes off the bench even if its for say 20 minutes a game.

Unless we limp our way into the finals and drastic times call for drastic measures, then i see no need for Tim to rush back.

Let him recover and strengthen the knee over the offseason and come back 100% fit next year.

Lui had a good game last week and if he goes great this week i wont sweat on Molzten..If we lose Lui i would be rushing Molz in and i'm sure thats what most will say then if faced by that situation.

where would you put him? Lui is a better halfback and brown and mckinnon a better fullback…Here we go...

Lui might be a better half in the future, but he isn't right now. Happy for him to prove me wrong though….

One good thing is we won't lose anything if Moltzen comes back early, we will be strengthened as he is a talented player who can play a number of positions.

Oh..Damn It… I included him in my team to take on the Stinking Class act Storm based on this info

You mean it's CRAP......
