I think that there are only 2 parties that have acted unproffesionally throughout this debacle - and neither of them are the Tigers or Moltzen.
Firstly, the Dragons. The way they announced Moltzen's signing was very unprofessional, without looking over the finer details of the contract and ensuring there were no loop holes and following through on all paperwork regarding releases that needed to be signed. Instead, they gloated, rushed the announcement and come out with egg on their face.
Secondly, the way Tauber conducted himself was not professional at all. He was overseas when the news broke that Moltzen wanted to stay and once he was up to date and the Tigers, Dragons and NRL were holding meetings, he jetted off overseas again. Unless he was told he wasn't needed then this gives him a poor public image, in my opinion. I also feel that Moltzen would only be making decisions and signing contracts based on the info Tauber gave him and I feel that when relaying info between Moltzen, the Tigers and Dragons that he may have gotten a little "mixed up" to say the least.
I'm only basing my opinion on what I've seen and heard thus far and may change my stance as more details surface, but this us how I see it now.
On a side note, it was good to see the Tigers management follow this to to end and get the goods. We have shown the NRL world we can stand on our own two feet, not get pushed around and will stand up for what we want off the field as well.
