Moltzen Staying Or Going

Benji6 I'm not having a go but I think your missing my point Point I'm making is why has the NRL discussed this with anyone bar themselves and their legal advice before they announce it to the fans

I can see your point happy tiger. I guess thats the problem with todays society. To many things are leaked and these days with social media its how rumours are started.

That's probably a question best aimed at the NRL Happy…Chinese whispers are rampant in pretty much every business, the NRL being no different, and well, people talk mate.

There should be a press conference or Media Release tomorrow stating that we are retaining Moltzens services. Sponsor told me this today at lunch. P.S he wasnt drunk when he told me.

I am no Public Relations genius but the last thing I would be doing would be holding a press conference.

Let the decision be known and move on.

Whilst the truth may be different, this has been a public relations disaster alround for Moltzen and the club.

Not good for the NRL either….maybe they could release it quietly on Sunday along when next years draw is announced as well

What a joke. The guy agreed via handshake or signature now he goes back on his word. Wests should be telling him to go. Poor in my opinion. But it's just my opinion. Humphreys should go. No coincidence the guy came from qantas.

Any suggestions on who should replace him? Humphreys that is, not Moltzen. He's been here two seasons and we've had our two most successful seasons since 2005\. Now that cannot be completely attributed to him, but it would seem that the front office is doing it's job.

He has either made (or at least rubber stamped,) a few questionable ethical decisions, but at least he is willing to do it in order to ensure the success of the club.

And before you jump on me, I also agree Moltzen should stick to his word and the Tigers should release him accordingly. I just think it's ludicrous to insinuate Humphreys should be moved on over this…

This is as crappy as the Prince saga from 2006\. Here's hoping that it's over sooner than later. Right now it's gone on for soooo long that I don't give two hoots whether he stays or goes. Frankly we have better options at both fullback and halfback, so no big deal if he goes. If he stays - yay! Guaranteed to be another bazillion page thread on which position he should play or is we should have sent him off to the drags.

I agree 100%. Humphreys is the best thing to have happened to us management wise. As for the Moltzen issue, I am a fan and I hope he stays. I'm not sure why plenty on here who have no idea what has gone on behind closed doors has blamed Humphreys, but they have the right to an opinion the same as I.

Can you be more specific?

Let's just stick to the topic at hand.

This is becoming sssoooo boring and maybe just to keep boring stuff off the Forum next year, Tim should go to the Dragons, so there are not any more Moltzen long-running sagas.

Saw Moltzen at Randwick yesterday. He seemed pretty relaxed, enjoying himself and oblivious to these 70 odd forum pages.

Darryl Brohman was sledging him to go to the Dragons….all in jest.

Can i know why peaple always on moltzen his a ver gud player when his on and showed us at the bak end of the season i hope he re signs for 10 years!!!!

Mate, everyone interprets every player differently… Some on here dont rate Darren Lockyer, but others who know what they are talking about know he is a legend :roll

Its simple really:

>Some think the good-looking players are great while others think they are princesses.
>Some think the fancy/attacking players are great while others dont rate a bloke unless he is prepared to put his head in a scrum and chew off someones ear.
>Some think Benji Marshall is the best player in the world while others think he needs to be more consistent for longer periods of games.
>Some think your grammar is rediculous while other couldnt care less.

At the end of the day, you love Moltzen and thats all that really matters...

Really? I assumed a desire to ease the minds of forum members was a major factor in Tim's decision making!

Apparantly there was a pool put together at the start of the year to see which player could score the most posts about them on the forum. Moltz has won it hands down

And some think that scoring 50 points week in week out is important while others know you can't win a premiership without a consistant cohesive defensive unit that doesn't fall to pieces if one or two players aren't there

He's a shoe-in for the 'Lote Tuqiri mega post count' award this year. He's probably stalling so he can get to 100 pages.
