There are thousands of reasons why the Tigers arent winning games.

Ive seen Moltzen succeed at the back end of last year, and he still looks our most potent attacking player, so we need him in my opinion at the moment.

Thousands of reasons ? I only counted 3 Sheens,Moltzen and Marshall .

Ill give you some others.

1) A suspect fullback under the high ball.
2) The worst kicking game in the NRL.
3) No combinations in the backs accept the now 8 years old backline sweep.
4) The slowest wingers in the NRL.
5) The slowest outside backs in the NRL.
6) No halfback.
7) Ineffective forwards (Heighno, Fulton etc)
8) An attacking structure which gives our forwards no room to run.
9) The inability of the forwards to go over the advantage line, and hopefully get a quick play the ball (Excusing BMM)
10)The depressing decline of the former best player in the NRL Robbie Farah.
11) A suspect coach and tactics.
12) A lack of leadership at important moments in games.

You have nailed many of the things to be addressed. 😛ray: 😛ray:
1) A suspect fullback under the high ball. Thanks goodness we lost Mitch Brown, the second best fullback in the club behind Tedesco, by not giving him a go.
2) The worst kicking game in the NRL.I have pleaded for years on here to get someone to teach our team how to kick.
3) No combinations in the backs accept the now 8 years old backline sweep.Made even worse, because they play too flat in attack.
4) The slowest wingers in the NRL.
5) The slowest outside backs in the NRL.
6) No halfback. No chance to fix this problem, because we do not give any half a real chance to show his worth.
7) Ineffective forwards (Heighno, Fulton etc)
8) An attacking structure which gives our forwards no room to run.The one-out running does not help.
9) The inability of the forwards to go over the advantage line, and hopefully get a quick play the ball (Excusing BMM)See 8.
10)The depressing decline of the former best player in the NRL Robbie Farah.
11) A suspect coach and tactics. There never seems to be a game plan in attack or defence.
12) A lack of leadership at important moments in games. This has been a problem since Scott Prince left.

He was in the top 3 players against Souths the week before and his first break should have set us up to lead 6 nil against the Broncos. (butchered the next tackle by Marshall/Lawrence/Tuquiri)
Instead we give them a try at the other end it's a 12 point turnaround.
Sure he had a bit of a shocker after that but he didn't get much help at the back.
Apart from him and Marshall we have zero speed .
He'll be back to his best this week and so will the team.

SERIOUSLY ARE YOUR EYES PAINTED ON !!! Not sure what Moltzen youv'e been watching this year? Back to his best ???

At a guess I would say is because he is small, pretty poor under the high ball and one of the worst defenders I have seen in the last few seasons

smeghead - are you talking about Mullaney? He is small, I'll give you that - but so is bowen, locke, hodgson etc… Gallant and McDonnell were also small but were given more of a chance than him.
Was he really _that_ bad a defender?

Seriously, do you read posts before you reply?
Or do you just see Moltzen's name and go on the attack?
I said he'll be back to his best **this week** (with the team).
Obviously that's a statement of faith in him and the team - because no-one knows yet what will really happen next week.
Maybe I should have added ' I hope ' in brackets after it.
I also said he played very poorly against the Broncos - but if you didn't think he played well against Souths you're the one with your eyes painted on.
The only reason he is even playiing fullback is because Sheens had no option with Tedesco injured and Humble not handling it.
SHEEESH…..

Put Moltzen at one for the storm and he would have a field day. It's all about confidence and when the team is busted it's very hard for the no1\. I would rather vent my anger at Sheens and try and get a explanation why we are so far off the pace in 2012, we have a very slow predictable football team that is well down on all the basic skills required to win football games. Things will get better, but in reality our season is done and dusted, this team will not put a big winning streak together

SHEEESH…..

He is the worst fullback/player we have had in the team, period. He offers nothing.

Back to his best? Your kidding right?

After last weeks debacle he should never again be picked in first grade. No way should they sign him to another contract.

Boy, how lucky were St. George?

An under 10 fullback knows how to catch a bomb. Or would have at least tried to catch it. What crap. Stop making excuses for this player.

If Sheens keeps picking him (which I am sure he will), then this should be his last year (or part thereof) as our coach.

 The worst player EVER to play for WestsTigers?
You're another one with an agenda that makes ridiculous statements one after another.
He may not be setting the world on fire but he's not on his lonesome there.
Worst player EVER….. :crazy

No he wasn't i was just playing with yar .

Iv noticed, aside from moltzen who is making me lose my hair.
Wests lose at the start of every year and then come firing near the end of the year.
Does sheens have a full season plan of lulling other teams into a false sense of security.
Eg
Our team playing terribly, the do very well in a catch up attempt where you can see the 110% effort ?
Then end of season; we go hard the entire 80 minutes ?
Just a thought,

i must admit i WAS a moltzen fan the last few years but slowly loosing confidence… but no matter who is playing fullback for us right now were simply not putting any pressure on the kicker and they have all the time in the world to deliver an attacking kick to put pressure on us..moltzen pathetic ?? did you mean to start a thread ayshford ? pathetic ??? maybe....
big strong lanky centre with zero agression who looks like he just got out of bed...Ive always been a sheens fan as well and maybe he is part of the problem....? i dont know...ive always been a balmain / wests tigers fan and dont think ive seen them play consistant good footy since 89...win or loose , i dont want to bag our players ..even if im secretly thinking it !!!!

Guys… Moltz isn't the only reason we are losing... It's everyone... They look like they don't wanna play with each other... Sheens should know how to sort them out... Fifita tells it like it is... I love tigers to death but I can't see them winning another game till they play for each other and the jersey... A lot of players lucky to be still in the run on side... I'm waiting for a call to play halfback... Humble is not the one...

Could sheens national coaching duties be affecting our off season preparations leading to the team being off the pace?

You are right. Bellamy has a knack of turning very average players/nuffies into world beaters.

However, I doubt Bellamy would pick a player in FG who refuses to contest bombs.

Unfortunately Moltzen is there now and there is nothing we can do about it

Hopefully he can find the form from post Round 18 2011 If not ,there's the door

If not for the two tries scored from lack of catching skills we win the broncos game . Not that its an excuse for playing poorly but the last few weeks we have been playing the refs too.

SHEEESH…..

No.
Sheens couldve just replaced him with Meaney, a fullback for a fullback, and left the halves alone
