IMO did just enough in attack to justify keeping his spot tonight, what with the try assist and game winner

although having a fullback who can't catch is a huge concern! if the NRL ever used advanced statistics I'd be very curious to see how many points his mistakes have directly contributed to opposition points.

i know this is a moltzen slagging topic but one wonders if any confidence he gained from this game might turn his season around as it did last year. hope so, because there are times when he's been truly awful and times when he's been a real asset.

Scares the hell out of me under the high ball, but did come up with a couple of good plays tonight, although the grubber kick which led to Hurrell's try was not on, Maloney saw that coming a mile away.

Thought it was his…and a few others - best game tonite

Moltzen wasn't great but better than usual. Yes best game for sure… Lets hope we don't have to wait another 10 rounds of football for him to produce another good game.

Geeze, some of blokes will rip into him no matter what he does. Now i thought Beau played quite well tonight but he was a bit shaky under the high ball and was directly responsible for one of the Warriors try's but even though Moltz lets 2 bounce which were very good bombs from Johnson and by no means easy takes its all praise for Beau and all hate for Moltzen.

Also Moltzen made the most metres of any of our backs set up 1 try and scored the try that won it AND had Fulton made a smarter decision with the ball he wouldve had a major hand in another one. He looked dangerous everytime he brought the ball back (something you blokes rip into him for every week) and he was there to clean up every time the warriors put a grubber through. He also took a few good takes under the high ball to make up for the ones he let go, the ones he took were under pressure and the ones he didnt there was no one around.

I no he is far from a perfect player but if you want to rip into him every time he does something wrong, please give him credit when he does things right and improves upon you get into him for.

totally agreed, his best game tonight. just needs to stop acting like a sook and toughen up a little. gotta admit though, that vatuvei hit must've shaken him up, feel sorry for him.

Dont think anyone can call him a sook after the hit he took from Manu

You forgot the 50-odd metre run he made from inside the in-goal area. He's rocks and diamonds ATM. Fingers crossed we'll see the Moltz of late 2011, he just needs to catch the freaking bombs. Beau was running towards him on a few of them, I honestly couldn't watch

His attack is getting there, but gee his defence is downright atrocious.

He never attacks the ball off a kick. I think he let it bounce 3 or 4 times tonight. I cant think of any other fullback in the comp who is an inept as him in this regard…

Thought he had a cracker of a game, and who knows with Robbie on rep duty perhaps he was given a little more rein.ALL the players struggled with kicks tonight, be they grubbers or high. his grubber that led to Hurrell,s try was no worse than that bizarre kick that Benji seems to find every now and then….Canberra, Parramatta and tonight with Mateo snatching it from thin air! Let,s celebrate a fine victory and give Timmy the benefit of the doubt for this week. GO TIGERS!

He was solid tonight despite his continued ineptitude under the hight ball. If he can somehow sort that part of his game out continue to improve on tonight, who knows, he may just turn out to be an asset :astonished:

If he runs the ball like tonight and is given the free rein, I'd be more then happy to put him in the halves, also protects him from the bombs, throw reddy at fullback and ayshford who is finding form in the centres with Lawrence
