Momirovski

@jirskyr I remember a few talking him up after he made one good play in the semis last year. Granted, its one more than I'll ever make, btlut I agree w the OP that the praise for him was headscratching. Perhaps people see Roosters recruit and think that means he's a good moneyball player.

I’d love to see him come good but so far he has offered very little. From my observations he is dead slow (especially off the mark), he is slow to turn, he gets monstered coming out of trouble, has no post contact fight. Hope I’m wrong

Momorovski is actually quicker than I thought he was ... but I thought he was dead slow

He'd be 2nd quickest of our back 5 behind Mbye

Thompson would be quicker surely?

When ....in faster car perhaps

Definitely and also in a running race (unless it was hurdles).

I dunno , saw that break he made v Raiders or Parra when he puts the kick through in the 2nd half ...quicker than people think , just my opinion

How old is he? Think that there is still some time for him to bulk up.

Think he is better suited to centre than wing and think he was a junior 5/8.

Worth holding onto for another year or 2 for depth and hopefully he develops

I want to see him settle into the position, the fact he came back from a bad start is promising and shows the right mental attitude. Give him a chance to settle in on a weekly basis until years end .. there is certainly at this stage no one to replace him .

I don't see anything I like in him. For his size I cannot believe how far he gets driven back when tackled

Size lol
He’s a runt !

I like that fact that apart from the first 15 minutes, he was consistent.

In a team where we seem to have players that have brain farts every other play, it was nice to see a kid hold the ball, run as hard as he could, and just play the ball no thrills. that was good.

The simple stuff like spilling the ball from a kick was ordinary. The try that resulted from him losing the ball, I watched the replay and while I cannot be certain he looked like he was trying to keep the ball in field of play and lost the pill in the process.

He came back from it and managed to be relatively solid from thereon in.

Thought the same thing CB - I'm pretty sure he was trying to avoid the drop out by trying to get the ball down before he was pushed in goal. Unfortunately the momentum with ball on the ground and the defender against it, wrenched it out of his hands. It was good thinking but a bad result.

He is okay. He is a stop gap first grader. He can do a job with the right players around him.

The thing is, we just need 13 good footballers and only about 4 of these type of players, instead of 12 "stop gap" guys and 5 or so good first graders

You might be right, just looked slow to me. But I also think Nofo is slow and he's apparently the 2nd fastest player in the NRL. So what do I know.

Look the only way Nofoaluma is the 2nd fastest player in the comp is if JAC carries him over the try line

Nofa is not slow just fades out over 100metres his acceleration is good but he likes to run sideways into defenders.

Jebus he is coping some. The kid is young and its easy to see he needs some meat on his bones. What he showed on the weekend was character. I think he will develop into a good player once he develops some size. Has a decent in and away and works hard. Is a centre by trade and with some speed outside him will be good i think.

that's the point....he stood up despite making a couple of mistakes...good test of character....

Cant help but feel so many of our fans have it wrong with this guy.

For way too long this club has recruited on potential and yesterdays talent.

This time we have a kid who may not be the fastest, not be the most skillful but he has a quality this club has lacked for a decade.

MENTALITY.

He showed it against the Knights over coming a very poor start and finishing strongly.

Ill take that every day of the week thanks. Had enough of soft players who go to water.

In agreement with the few posters above who seem to have witnessed the real heart and guts in his performance on the weekend. Something we have sorely lacked for YEARS, give him until the end of the year & he’ll grow on us...Now to getting “momi” down pat

@The_Patriot I think he isn't fast or big enough to be a gun player but he does a lot of little things well. He scored a try where he has some work to do.
