A trade to Penrith for Laurie would be a good outcome
Spot on. We get a player we want and let a player who doesn't want to be here, leave. Win / win.
He doesnt wanna be here because hes done the right thing by the club, proven himself in a premiership winning team, and on his return(after a 2 year contract extension) gets told hes gonna be totally shafted for a couple of chronic underperformers, albeit talented...but rarely deliver.
Ask yrself...why have they both been at half a dozen clubs....????
I simply cant believe we make these decisions...coach under pressure IMO.
Like any player at our club
If you want a starting spot you have got to fight for it and earn it 1st
There should be no guarantee starter at our club
If Paul is upset with our signings, he should grow some balls and fight for a spot
Unless of course he thinks he is not good enough
I have a sneaky feeling that Melbourne might be after him on the quiet
Geez some of you have revisionist history . Momo did not “star” for the storm . In fact he wasn’t first choice there , even before his injuries . He was a backup . So can we just get some perspective here or what ?
Also BJ , has been putting in this off season , as well as the jet , and because both those guys are way more talented than momo , if they are fit and firing , of course momo is going to be positioned behind those 2 . As well as Talau , who is a better footballer than him .
He’s had now, 3 months to show that he is the right option , and he hasn’t . Do you guys actually want to win ? Because if Madge can get Jimmy and BJ to buy in , that’s our best chance of winning . The buying in , was the issue , not the talent .
Not sure what you took out of my comments to come up with that reply
Everyone should be fighting for a start
No exceptions
If Momorovski is in our 30 he needs to do his best
If that is good enough to make the 30 then great
If not then to bad for him
Melbourne had a use for him last year as he played a number of games for them
He could have easily been in the grand final team if it was not for his injury
Momorovski probably sees that as an opportunity lost
With Vunavalu gone and Addo-Carr on his way out, Bellamy probably sees Momorovski as a player he may be able to use
At least until they sign a top class winger/ Centre
Momorovski can't be that bad if he played for the Roosters/ Melbourne and Now Penrith are looking at him Apparently
He adds some kind of value to those teams
Now if you say Melbourne wanted Harry to gain experience and that's why they took Momorovski, then you are only looking at half the story
Why did Melbourne not take Packer or McQueen or Reynolds or Taylor or Jennings
Because Momorovski is better than those players and he adds value
Now I'm not saying Momorovski is a starter
But he is a very handy back up
Every team needs players like Momo in their 30
If not here, then maybe Panthers
Let's see where he ends up and how many games he plays in 2021
He is better then most give credit for
And in my view had been better then Mbye has been for us
Especially for the $ he is paid
