The club's values are supposed to be Respect, Team and Excellence(I think?) but the way in which some negotiations go down only give off an impression the team's trademark is the exact opposite.
No one wants to read players are not feeling valued by the club, but who could actually blame them when certain stuff is said in the media?
He might not be walking into a first grade position at another club but he's an asset to our club and all I ever want is for all our players is to give their best - which he does - and not feel undervalued or somewhat mistreated.
Agree with all your points however I feel this situation is the media portraying us in a negative light for the sake of a news article.
Momo would have viewed the line up and made the assumption JTJ and JL will be first choice and if that is what the coach wants then there is nothing wrong with that. Madge would have been open and honest with him (which is actually a good thing) and now Momo want's a starting opportunity elsewhere...totally understandable. However we cannot just let players walk with nothing in return.
The media have just chosen to turn this into us not being able to retain players when in reality it happens at most clubs for non starting players. I don't think the club has done anything wrong, and it going to the media is most likely the work of player agents.
