well we must have the most amazing team in the comp because we are playing so badly, picking the wrong players just in general putting in horrible performances and the worst coach in the game according to most of you and yet we have been entrenched in the top 4 so this means we must have melbourne like talent with all that going wrong

marshal - international
farah - international
ellis - international
tuqiri - dual international
heighington - country rep
lawrence - city rep
galloway - city rep
gibbs - city rep

yeah mate i think we go alright for talent.

and not one origin player.

Really ? Robbie Farah & Lote Tuqiri will be surprised to hear that.

I took MM's post as meaning not one CURRENT origin player …

Realistically, although we have been winning lately we have not been overly impressive in all departments.Saints and Manly showed up our areas of concern that need addressing. While the dynamics of a team can be affected by injury and selections what real benefit did skando, fitzy and Flanagan bring to the team against Manly?

I saw Junior Moors play against Balmain-Ryde he was impressive in his performance which was similar to what Dave Taylor is doing at Souths, also impressive was Nu Akeripa in the centres.Hard work will benefit these two in becoming
established first graders, unfortunately the 3 above mentioned, no amount of hard work will benefit them into becoming better than the standard they have already achieved as players..

this year wests-tigers have not won more than 3 games in a row.
first step, win against the sharks.
if the team is going to make the finals.
then they need to beat the sharks.
this should be the only thing on the team's mind, not looking further past, this game.
2 points are 2 points, regardless of who you are playing.

In previous years we haven't won more than 2 games in a row. So this is an improvement.
