More Tigers Players To Be Punted

Laughable some of these comments.
Jt never wanted Farah. He tried to punt him before a ball was kicked off for 2015 but Farah made a song and dance about it and JT gave him a chance if he followed the game plan. He didn't.
His 3 step probes out of dummy half is the problem. Once one of the halves get the ball the defenders are 5m out from the ball.

JT and the club handled everything great, just Farah and his manager unloaded through the media much like he did this time around.
In my 40 years I've never seen such an emotional windbag of a player in my life. The maturity bus missed Robbies stop.

Some good comments at LO yesterday.

"Stand still Robbie stop setting up tries its not in the game plan"

Addo carr scores 100 metre try - "Thats why your in reserve grade Carr"

His 3 step probes are not the problem. The problem is where leaking 25 plus points a game. Something Taylor said he would fix. We have the second worsrt defence in the comp and thats why we are sitting 11th.

In terms of Farah or JT leaving i rather Jason Taylor as he has delivered less for the club.

Why? Farah is done. His career in the NRL is finished.
He is an aging slow hooker that no club wants to touch.
Taylor is just doing what Sheens and Potter failed to do which is admirable. He is looking out for the young halves that have a decade in the game, not a few games left in them like Robbie.

Leave the emotion out of it and you'll see it's the right move.

If Taylor just played his best seventeen I would be satisfied
He is a master at deflecting away from what the real issue is - already people are convinced now that this decision is been driven from the halves.
Just don't listen to him anymore because everything he says has become a contradiction.

Our halves are turnstiles and the whole NRL knows that as the opposing forwards bash them each week.
Why do you think ET was bought? To protect them and it's worked well.
Doesn't bode well for Robbie harping on about our weakness seeing he is part of the same squad. It's a team game.
As for JAC, he isn't in our future, why play a guy who isn't part of the future.

Robbie was asked to just provide fast service off the ground, he couldn't do the job asked of him all year. Just watch the replays. He just can't help himself and probe the line. Once Brooks gets it the forwards are 5m away from him and he has no room. This is the problem. Does this sink in? Early ball is what they need.

How is Taylor supposed to do it? Lay Robbie down with a warm glass of milk and explain with sock puppets?
He told him face to face but Robbie runs to the papers in tears once again. JT isn't calling the media.

Of course the media will be interested. You don't have to be Einstein to predict that. When you want to remove a club legend, captain and current rep player out of his contract when he is halfway through it you make damn sure you cover all bases. This brain dead twerp didn't and now we have this.

There is no nice way of tapping a great player on the shoulder.

The problem is the club can't move forward carrying a $950k hooker that is not contributing. I suspect that the club thinks Farah is not doing enough to get another contract at another club.

Surely Newcastle could see some value or Gold Coast or at George. But wait he doesn't want to move out of Sydney and won't play under potter in Newcastle. Now there is only one option which decreases his market value and they are playing hardball.

Much of the problem Robbie has created himself. 4yrs for a 30yr old hooker at marquee money there is the problem clear as day.

Again every season clubs turn over around 20% of their personnel

Just one portion of our the 20% in 2016 possibly

No one player is bigger than the club , just move on , close to 800 people in the alumina industry in Gladstone have lost their jobs and they didn't do anything wrong either and tell their employers that they didn't like working for their foreman or try and repeatedly get them sacked

Larry , Potter is gone if Farah signs , it was in a story last week

Just reaffirm that jt is not going anywhere in 2017 and Robbie will find his way out. Don't let him sack another coach….we are just starting to improve as a club, we need to be strong.

Ok, well pay him out, we'll write 2017 off as we'll be 900k behind every other club cap wise, then come 2018 we'll take the trophy.

I think that a club will be willing to pay out around 300-350 k for Farah , they were last season

Just have to wait and see I guess

Personally I thought the set up was working fairly well , but we don't see everything that goes on behind the scenes either

But the coach reckons it could be better and as I will back the coaches call (whether I agree or disagree ) as he lives and dies by his decisions

If he has it wrong I'd say he is gone

He only will if someone takes on his contract otherwise he will be here next year.

How can you say Robbie does not contribute? He generates about 80% of the media publicity for the club, however unfortunately most of it is either negative or about him.
