More Tigers Players To Be Punted

They are trying to force Farah to sign someone else for between $350-450k and money will be used to resign Taylor.

When did it become the responsibility of players to forfiet the conditions of their contract to allow the club to manage their salary cap?
Hasn't Farah already done that before to now be faced with - " you know that favour you did for us before now we need another one - you to p"$#% off. "
Never met Farah but even I know enough about him to suggest this was never going to end well.

He was terrible for nsw, was there because of daleys stupidity and has been terrible for us for 3yrs.

Did you watch any of those games. He was one of our best in the first 2 games. His last game was ordinary. This year he has been easily the best hooker we've had.

Anyway back to the space cakes.

All the idiots saying just pay him his $950k and let him go. What a stupid suggestion we could get him to go for less and that is the clubs job. Would you really want the club to play $1 million down in 2017\. We are trying to get him to go and someone else to pay half of it so that we can get rid of his attitude and be competitive. Of course he needs to go but the clubs job is to pay him as little as it is possible next year while getting rid of him

Yes and this is obviously what the club wants to show the younger players, any potential players and all player managers out their.

This is how we operate.
This is what we do to our players of long standing
This is how we handle internal matters
and this is the pure lack of professionalism that we want to put in show for all to see

Great strategy !

I wonder if you would have the same attitude if someone was trying to get out of something they owed you.

There are $950k reasons Farah is being treated differently to other players

Just pay him out his 950k and he wiil go .
The way Taylor has handled this is diabolical .
If we were playing the Cowboys / Storm or the Sharks today Farah would be playing !

X 2

If you know how we can get rid of him for less then please contact the club, im sure they would love to know. Bottom line is we are not going to be able to let him go for less, simple.
Sure it would be great to get another club to pay half but there is just one small problem:
*****There are no clubs that are willing to do that. I cannot see how that is so difficult for people to understand.

Sounds like a great idea Larry. Now all WT have to do is force a club to pay that much, easier said than done.
There are 2 options available to WT now that this has all blown up:
1\. Pay Robbie his 900k and tell him he will be in reserve grade for the whole of 2017 (just like they did before this season, but this time have the balls to stick with their threat, unlike this season).
2\. Swallow their pride, put personal garbage aside and use him off the bench for 2017- that tactic was working well recently. We will be forking out 900k regardless so we may as well be getting some sort of services for our cash.

He should be starting in first grade. He can still play. It's just dumb. How does dropping him help this situation either.

Of course he should be in 1st grade.
It is the classic saying of "cutting off your nose, and your old fella, to spite your face".

He'll be getting his $900k (or whatever it is) either way - that's not an issue.
WT are trying to get him off the books for next year to open up cap space. If we can offload him to SGI, and they agree to pick up $450k of the tab, then that's a Elijah Taylor sized hole that's just opened up in our salary cap.

yes but another part of the game Steve - is on field talk - have you considered this?

Is Farah a deaf mute? What is your point?
Woods doesn't seem to say a word on-field, Moses is still barely past being a rookie and Brooks seems so shy and introverted that he would be stood over and intimidated by a pre-schooler. Im more than happy to have a real competitor out there barking at the troops, after 250 games it's not as if he doesn't know what he is talking about.
