And you in yours with JT, two can play that game, what I have listed is not Rothfield, if you can't see it I am wasting my time, these are actual things your hero has done.

Read all of them at the link, this is but one.
January 1997 A beer-soaked Taylor is seen live on national television being escorted from the SCG for unruly behaviour during a cricket ODI. Taylor and several North Sydney teammates had been backing up from a buck's party the previous night and it is alleged some players urinated in cups and threw the contents over patrons during a Mexican wave. Taylor is axed as an Australia Day ambassador by Central Coast organisers.
Here is an article, not Rothfield from may 2015, interesting.

Dragging up things he did 20 yrs ago, you must be desperate. Why don't you get dirt from his primary school teachers while you're at it.

Don't be such a hypocrite GNR, you'd use anything to discredit Farah any time possible, so don't squeal when someone does the same to this fool that we've made head coach .
If you can't take it, then don't give it.

Would I? Example's please. It's easy to make a broad swipe without going into specifics.

Nearly 3 months and you're still insulting him (fool). Think of all that wasted energy you could have used for something more constructive. This whole thing must be eating you way down to the bone marrow to still have the energy for all this hate.

That's right, you stopped baking Farah after the first week of this thread , did you????? :roll
Why is it that when anyone critics the club or Taylor that's hating, but when the Taylor Tribe bashes Farah, that's gentle constructive critism.
Go back and read your posts before you get too sanctimonious ,

I cannot believe the hate. This forum is becoming a sewer.

I don't know what a moderator does, but he or she should really be taking some strong action about this hate crap.

We get it, some people do not like the coach. But to keep on repeating the same old same old every day is just mind boggling. Give it a rest for everyone's sake.

You would like to see people banned for voicing their opinion? It's a forum, embrace it or don't read it.

There is a difference between voicing an opinion and continuing to slander someone, based on that opinion.

How many times do you have to "voice your opinion"?

It will not make the club take action and it tends to weaken your arguments in regard to Taylor and the club.

How about concentrating on the new players that have come to the club looking for an opportunity to succeed.

How about getting some accurate information on what the club is trying to achieve after the debacle that has been going on for a decade.

How about facing the fact, like it or not, that there is a parting of the ways between the club and Farah. Accept it and move on.

two points i would like to pull u up on col.
the players that have come to the club do nothing to excite me for 2016, if my local A-GRADE had signed them i might have got excited. so dont bag people for been unhappy.
u say get some accurate information, that is like trying to extract teeth from this mob. i get little bits and peices from with the club now and then and it is way off from what the club tells us supporters. so again how can u bagg people when u can only go on what u thinks going on and the crap that is played out in papers and tv.
maybe time to get of the high horse ur riding before u fall.

The two players from Qld are quite good, according to Scott Sattler, who should know.

There are heaps of interviews, player profiles on Tigers TV. There are interviews with Taylor, Woods, Rankin and the player we signed from Canberra. All very interesting.

Look it up.

I do not believe anything I read in the papers, on social media or Tv, unless it comes directly from the club or the players.

You should follow my example.

Correct I've never baked Farah :roll

I thought that was pretty ironic after the other day.

But yes I believe this is where I turn it back around on the JT critics an say they've done exactly the same thing. This is even more tiring than Wests v Balmain arguments. Every point that is made by someone is interchangeable with someone who thinks the other way.

Come on everyone. Come over to Mama's place for a while.
In the First Aid cabinet, I've got some " Chill pills" for those of us,that need them.
In the kitchen, there's a large pot of herbal tea steeping. Great for relaxing the nerves.
In the fridge chilling, there's a large amount of home brew. Apple cider, Ginger ale and beer. All alcoholic of course. Great for chasing the blues away.
What you say?… Any takers?
We can all use some down time.

Its going to be funny listening to JTs reception on national television when the fans get behind the King again..

The NRL appointed directors should GO and take that rodent

If the arguments were based on solid facts people wouldn't mind Milky

The facts are this

No - just no. This to me is all just pessimistic palava.

To be fair to you the facts are pretty hard to get right but they consist of our results and our results only.

I for one think that this is a great club and that there is nothing wrong with it. We have some great young talent and hopefully we can have a good season within the next couple of years.

But Steve if we don't fix the off field stuff we will never succeed long term

The results will never be consistent

Correct. A club will never be successful on the field if it's not successful off it.

Thanks for clearing that up for me….

You've noted everything except why no other club wants the current NSW Origin on their books for free.... FREE!!
?????

I have also followed this club for a time, Probably not as long as you - But a time no less...
I have seen many a club legend come... And go - For one reason or another!!
I've not seen one of them carry themselves over the situation like this.

I'm not a supporter of the coach, I support the club and the players.
IN THAT ORDER!!
- My club decides my coach... I can live with that.

We have been abysmal for years... We've had 3.5/16 acceptable seasons (2009 we were a little unlucky). If nothing changes, We will be abysmal until the end of my days.
We are the only club in the NRL where the players seem to run the club.
We have complained about our walk up starters "In The Club" for years, despite form - That's now changing.

All this may be the wrong road, In 2 years we'll know...
All I know is the old way wasn't working - In Life, No Matter what you are doing if it's not working you need to try something new, You need to make changes, With change comes sacrifice.
At worst we'll be exactly where we have been for more than 80% of our existence....
Ending the season in August....

I will certainly find it easier supporting a losing team that is actually trying to change and trying to turn it around. Rather than one who runs out the same players in the same positions year after year with not a care in the world and no pressure on their position.

And for the record, I've personally achieved quite a few things in my years of note that have been recognised in more than one field. And I'm not done yet....
Who knows, Maybe this old keyboard here will make me a superstar!!

Furthermore, I've been in my Industries a lot longer than Robbie Farah has and I've NEVER been asked to look elsewhere.....

Batboy , they will Not get him for free, or even close to that
We will still be playing a big bit of his contract, yes
But as a NSW player. A club woud be unable to register him if they were getting him at too low a price.
I'm not sure exactly what the Cap rules are on that, but it's already been mentioned in the press at least a couple of times.
If anyone goes know the rules regarding that , they may be able to enlighten us all on that.

Well, with the news of slammin Sam coming back, it shows that there was at least one club with money. You'd probably say that that money was always there for Sam, and you are probably right, but are we going to pretend that not 1 of the other 14 clubs showed no interest due to monetary reasons? Come on. Manly, Newcastle and the Titans are 3 teams i can think of off the top of my head. At the very least i'm sure a couple of clubs would have tried to offload 1 or 2 players like Souths are trying to do with Dylan Walker because of Burgess, to do anything they can to have the NSW hooker. Not sure how you can look at it and not even entertain that his character might have something to do with why not 1 club came knocking. Plus, no clubs wanting him would make it easier for Farah to gain sympathy by saying how much he loves the club, because he has no choice to stay. I honestly don't think he would risk missing out on Origin by playing NSW cup. Also, why would he be so desperate to stay at a club run by someone supposedly as incompetent as JT? I love how all JT's baggers ignore the fact that despite all this, Farah is desperate to stay at the club he coaches. Wouldn't he be out the door first chance he got?

GNR you are right in one thing we are the only club dumb enough to sign a 30+ year old hooker!

Really. The off field stuff ? Like what ?

I'll give my opinion - it all comes down to recruitment and retention. You just need the right players in your squad. There is also a moneyball approach to getting a winning squad. For instance I think buying Richards late in his career was a massive mistake because we had very little speed out wide. I also think letting go of Taupau might be the right option since we would have paid a lot of money to keep him.

I don't think that there is this massive dysfunction off the field that is causing us to be a dud team. I think its on the field. That is why I have massive concerns with JT. Last season he came up with losing game plans. You can't do that. I think the squad this year isn't going to be great but I think we can possibly improve if some of the younger players kick on and JT learns from his mistakes.

I also think off the field we seem to go okay. We don't seem to be having many bad stories of players getting drunk or beating their wife's/gfs etc. Our players seem to be pretty good compared to the Carney's of the world.

Steve I'm talking financially , how we are perceived by possible sponsors , possible Third party benefactors , back ending contracts , old boys club , having one home ground , how we are perceived by possible players in the player market . etc etc etc

When clubs like Cronulla ,Parra and Canberra quite easily out play us on player market you have to ask why ??

All of these issues have been existent since day dot and really haven't improved

How we managed to screw up after winning a premiership with the most exciting brand of young footballers must confound most

I think that clubs like this show how things don't have to be so good to be able to sign players.

I think it comes down to simply making the right recruitment and retention decisions. If we get a good team on the park and win games none of this talk matters. It doesn't matter for other clubs so I fail to see why we are so different.

You'd have to agree that we are consistently winning the wooden spoon as far as recruitment ,retention, having one home ground , how we are perceived by players in the player market

That impacts majorly on how we are going on field You can't just rely on your junior program , no matter how good it is
