Yes the hooker does but it was pointed out Brooks is getting it more than Moses which he should as a 7 but the difference is not substantial Moses still has had plenty of ball…as far as our attack goes

On Friday he got injured and had to get his wrist taped up. He then rushed back to the line grabbed the ball and ran straight and hard into the defensive line.

He was trying to prove a point. I don't think it's so much fear but more so game plan.

That's also my take on things. Brooks is the same but against the Bulldogs both started to hold the ball longer and were more direct.

JT has a strategic view on what he wants from the team and how he wants to deliver it, it's clear he is trying to become a team first at the moment which is working.

We as fans just don't want to wait and many just want the heels to click together and let the magic happen straight away

Let's evaluate at round 16 how the halves are tracking.

Agree. Taylor has the team playing to a very specific structure - no more ad lib play from the Sheens era. I suspect this structure will be tweaked as the season goes and combinations start to gel. No dramas with Moses, he's more than willing to throw his body on the line.

Patience with some Forumers seems not to exist.

Stop trying to win a comp that is unwinnable in 2015

This is a long haul - Moses is a CHAMPION!!!
But oh!….. lets replace him win a second rater for short term gain.

Don't believe it!

Thanks for the info Geo!

It's gotta be game plan related, with the focussing being mainly on defense (and I'd say probably a bit on teamwork) during the off-season, I think JT would be planning to add a little to the attack plan each week.

I think both Moses and Brooks need to take the line on more, last week Brooks could have went himself and scored but decided to pass instead and it broke down, but they are learning and they will get better every week, just need to be patient.

I recall him running twice on Friday. Once to quite good effect, once he got clobbered and lost the footy from a slightly dodgy pass.

Brooks also tucked it under the arms a few more times than usual, but he is a bigger frame and takes a tackle better.

Even still I think there are only positives from running the ball more, takes so much pressure off the backs and wide forwards. It will come, they just need to get a groove. They need to take some tips off the Roosters or Manly for running game in the halves.

Ultimately, Mitchell with ball in hand will be devastating if he can be patient and pick his moments.

At the moment, he is playing with too much structure and may be somewhat over-awed a little. I wouldnt of thought it would be a problem for him considering he has a big mouth etc.

He is only a week or two away from exploding… You cant keep this Tiger caged for too much longer without wanting to rip & tear!

That's great info and very surprising. Like some others, I to felt Brooks was handling much more than Moses. I actually thought it would be about twice as much. So very surprised by those numbers

please give moses time same with brooks it will all happen stop trying to push the kids 1/2 way through this year you will start to see an improvement remember its round 5 taylor would be starting to know his players and what they are capable of just keep every one happy

I'd prefer to have the team structured to suit Brooks, get his passing improving, and then work on Moses. Currently, Brooks is making the right decisions but throwing far too many forward passes.

There was a ball brooks played on Friday (I think to Lovett who then dropped it) which was just magic, the decoy's and Tedesco were positioned perfectly and he threaded the needle through the defensive line only for it to not stick. I've seen him try that play against the Dragons and mess it up royally, so those sorts of improvements are fantastic.

You can't try to structure the team and allow Brooks to become a more mature deicison maker whilst also unleashing Moses. I say let Brooks develop like he is, get his combinations with the forwards much stronger (still a little sloppy for mine) and THEN shift the focus to helping Moses.

Just remember, Moses is playing game no. 15 on Friday.

Hasn't played many First Grade games has he. We tend to forget that he's still developing.
I like Mosses. There's something very special about him.
Be patient, soon we will see his magic unleashed.

The more i watch and think about the way our halves are playing and the whole team for that matter the more i can see Taylors mitts all over it, i think i can see what his plan is for us this year, and that is to let the reins out gradually as the season unfolds, it's obvious his main plan is to just compete and just stay in the game to give ourselves as much chance as possible every game, which i m liking because the tigers of old had a bad habit of beating themselves with just moronic play.im still a little concerned about Moses and Brooks all the same, i just expected a bit more than hat im seeing at the moment, still I'm finding im not calling the plasterer as much on monday mornings anymore to fix my walls after banging my head against them all weekend.
