Moses needs to run the ball

Moses needs to run the ball more -as a five eight who hasn't provided a single Try Assist, Line Break assist or line break he really needs to run it more to contribute.

I think we should persist and I think he will be great but at the moment he just isn't contributing enough given he misses 4 or 5 tackles, if you defend poorly (which for his age and size is ok for now) then you need to contribute elsewhere

Round 1 - 2 runs for 12 meters
Round 2 - 3 runs for 23 meters
Round 3 - 2 runs for 21 meters
Round 4 - 2 runs for 14 meters

Moses use to run at the line in the 20s. I guess he is just scared of getting hurt. He needs to face the fear head on

On Friday he got injured and had to get his wrist taped up. He then rushed back to the line grabbed the ball and ran straight and hard into the defensive line.

He was trying to prove a point. I don't think it's so much fear but more so game plan.

Mitch is an absolute superstar.
When he's ready, we'll all sit back and say "wow".
Don't forget how young he is. I've seen him play in the 20s when he is comfortable and he is deadset untouchable.
Just need to be patient. When brooksy and moses click, like they have before, we are in for some good times.

He's fearless I'll give him that. I think the game plan is holding him back more than any personal fear he has. Solid kicker.

I imagine that must be sarcasm?
If not I suggest you have another look at him standing his ground in front of Kasiano, Williams and all the other big boppers who were aimed straight at him.

Yeah he's crazy lol. Strange though I never fear for him when he jumps on the big guys whereas I clench each time Teddy runs.

Yep we have to be patient.

In the 20's this kid was a stud,i actually thought he was better than Brooksie who is kicking on nicely.

Hang in there kittens!

A Pumpkin…

I like pumpkin soup 😱pen_mouth:

Moses is going OK , he's not getting many quality chances with the ball imo

He improved again on Friday

Moses is getting better with each outing. His kicking game was first class the other night. His running with the ball will improve in time. Patience is a virtue us Wests Tigers fans don't seem to have a lot of

That's also my take on things. Brooks is the same but against the Bulldogs both started to hold the ball longer and were more direct.

JT has a strategic view on what he wants from the team and how he wants to deliver it, it's clear he is trying to become a team first at the moment which is working.

We as fans just don't want to wait and many just want the heels to click together and let the magic happen straight away

Let's evaluate at round 16 how the halves are tracking.

I do not know how to answer that so I will not,

People are ignoring the facts of the first post and going on their own tangents..

The fact is he is not running many metres and has no try assists.

This and In my opinion we do not have a long range kicking half is the reason we are losing games.

The problem is with the backs and halves at the moment.

Me too TIgerbill.. I pray he doesn't get hurt. 😛ray: It's such a relief when Teddy gets up and plays the ball.

I think people forget that it's the Brooks and Teddy show at the moment….I said in another thread that Moses isn't getting enough ball to prove his worth..he can kick goals when our no1 kicker is out,he can defend against the big blokes competently, give him some ball and see what he can do ......don't block him out....l

I agree. To be successful in first grade, regardless of age or experience, a team needs its halves to run the ball and ask questions of the defence.

Whether it is JT's game plan or Moses individually, the point in the opening post needs to be addressed if we want the tigers to be playing finals football in 2015.
