Most Underrated and Overrated players in the NRL?

Overrated: 3-way photo finish in DCE, Adam Reynolds and Cody Walker

Underrated: Mo Fotuaika

I can't stand Manly,but outside of Cronk DCEhas been the most consistent 1/2 in the game He is the only 1/2 that has both a good kicking game and a good running game.He killed our supposedly great halves in SOO. He is a big game player.

yep DCE will never be in the elite JT/Johns class or the freakish Benji/ Shaun Johson class but he has produced consistenly 7/10 performances. As a team, when you know your half will get a good kick in no matter what, will run the forwards onto the ball and distribute to the edges properly, you feel a lot safer. His running game has definitely dropped in the last 2-3 years though.

Underrated: Radley and Finucane

Overrated: Moses, Croft, Cleary

I'll say this: I'm not saying Cleary because I hate what his father did to us. I think he is a very good player but he has not reached the top echelon of players yet. Still yet to prove himself consistently on an origin level and still missing that gear in being able to take his team all the way. He falls in the Mitchell Pearce category for mine at the moment: a very fine club player but still has a way to go to be considered a great player.

I just think the emphasis on the kick to gain ground is the priority with the modern 1/2, and with only 6 tackles and kicking on 4 or 5 there is limited time to run anymore.Cleary is a big boy and is now easiley picked up by the defence,he is not a nippy halfback.

I would take Munster over all of them still. Got to remember Munny was just as good a fullback as he is 5/8...essentially mastered two positions. He’s a freak

Just my opinion though.

Yep, still remember his debut season when he replaced Billy at fullback. They lost nothing he is in no way underrated lol

Very consistent performer, rarely has a bad game.

Yep, never hear his name even mentioned when representative positions are up for grabs.

Admittedly quite a few would need to go down before he did a Bradbury and won a spot but you would think he would at least occasionally get an honourable mention.
