I did plenty of stupid stuff - believe me! But never put myself in a situation with a woman that could land me in court, and neither was I a first grade footballer with a target on myself. These blokes just don't respect the privileged position they hold. It's not as though there's no precedent already set amongst other footballers.

Wasn’t it Inglis charged with drink driving that he could of killed any of us or our families yet received a glowing reference from the head of the game ... and Musgroves career is ruined and maybe never Play again for this indiscretion .

Mid range drink driving AND speeding. And he blew that mid level at like 8 or 9am. He was probably in the very high range when he started driving.

On Musgrove, I guess that's the end of speculation over his potential contract for 2020. Perhaps this time next year his name might come up again. He'll need to be playing at least reserve grade in 2020 though to come under consideration.

You most like likely did that in our time. These days what we use to do would be held to a different standard

Yeah but we also know that a long and storied career wipes away a certain level of indiscretion.

Look at how many clubs were willing to give Todd Carney "another go".
