My first time watching Nofoaluma play

I have heard a lot about this guy from this forum, and the more I heard the more I believed he was a WTF(orum) myth, ala Mitch Brown. Last night was the first time I saw this guy play. What can I say, this guy has the stuff! I seriously hope he gets a chance next year because he is clearly an extremely talented player.

My only worry is if Sheens ends up staying, he will almost definitely end up playing in the halves.

Wing or centre !?

I'd probably have him on one wing and Koroibete on the other…
 
He is an awesome prospect , been saying that for ages . He was gonna get a run before Korribete, but got injured earlier in the year , Future looking bright…
 
Has strenght and some speed but but in reality to short for a modern winger hasn't got the hieght…

Im a big fan of the guy.But his position is wing.If played at centre he just becomes very fringe first grade.If he plays wing he can be a star.Possibly a centre in a couple of years.I see him as our josh mansour.
 
Same height as Matt Bowen and around the same height as billy slater and Ben Barba and those 3 seem to have done ok
 
If we get a new coach

1\. Hopefully we have Jennings
2\. Tuqiri and Utai most likely won't be resigned

Our 1-7will probably look like this

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluama
3\. Jennings
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete
6\. Benji
7\. Miller

Not one single player out of position and if the Jennings deal does not fall through resign utai and move Nofo to center pretty good.
 
Having jennings and a rookie winger on one side would be disastrous, the opposition would constantly go down that side and we would leak points VERY easily.
 
Yeah, first saw him in the Magpies Matthews Cup team a few years back.
Special player.

Just heard from Andrew Dunneman that the Raiders made a huge play for him this year but thankfully he rejected their advances and extended his contract with us (hope it's signed).

Not really, he defends pretty well…so does jennings.
 
All these young and talented players with some inspirational snr players leading them could be the recipe we need. Look at 2005\. Tastes the same.

If the coach changes who knows what will be the final makup of the team. One thing that is for sure with the talent comming through at the moment whoever gets a run in fg will have to play well.
 
Nofa will more than likely get a crack at FG next year provided he steps up in pre-season training. He's not huge (5"9 and 90kg), but he'll surely add a few kg of muscle over the next few years and he's like Utai in that he's very strong for his size and difficult to put down. He leads the Tigers NYC for tackle breaks this year and made 10 tackle breaks yesterday. He was a gun fullback before Tedesco burst onto the scene, and he also goes alright in the centres, but I'd be looking to keep him on the wing at this stage.
 
Agree from what I have seen from him this year… Big difference between David & Matt is his ability under the high ball..most probably learnt from his days at FB
