My team v Penrith

1.Moltzen if still out Meaney
2.Ryan
3.Ayshford
4.Lawrence
5.Grant-Koro-Nofo doesn't matter which we just need some speed
6.Siro
7.Marshall
8.Woods
9.Farah
10.Galloway
11.Blair
12.Ellis
13.Fulton

14.BMM
15.Bell
16.Heighno
17.Utai

Moltzen
Ryan
Ayshford
Lawerence
Utai
Sirro
Marshall
Woods
Farah
Galloway
Fulton
Blair
Ellis

BMM
Bell
Rhino
Humble

Moltzen
Ryan (best position imo)
Ayshford
Lawrence
Utai (koro if utai still injured)
Siro
Marshall
Woods
Farrah
Keithy
Blair
Ellis
Fulton (has to start)

BMM
Bell (front row rotation)
Cashmere
Ioesefa (really had a go against the dogs, put him on for impact)

A lot of options with players returning (& not a moment too soon!). Think we should persist with siro & benji in the halves, benji has just as many opps to run the ball from 1/2 as he does 5/8.

Great to have robbie & Ellis back!!

To me the biggest problem is still the spine. I think sironen has a long term first grade career ahead, however we aren't using him properly so would send him back to the 20s.

These are the two options for mine:

1\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
9\. Farah

By all reports Moltzen trained at 7 all summer. I don't think throwing him away after 3 games was the right move. Ryan is a lot safer then Moltzen at fullback, however we need moltzens attack in the red zone.

The other one is:

1\. Moltzen
6\. Marshall
7\. Farah
9\. Iosefa

People will blow up about it but this might be the best short term solution for us. Greg Alexander said the other night that Farah is the best 7 & 9 in nsw. At the moment we have a better backup option at 9 then we do at 6/7\. Tis wouldn't be a long term plan, but I really believe it could work for he rest of the year.

Thats good thinking.

I'm eating humble pie about Iosefa. was a standout vs the dogs and MOM for mind if our boys had kicked on from 20-20.

You could be right Fergie and Sheens often talks about giving youngsters a taste of FG and putting them back into NYC/reserves.

I think the Panthers game will tell us a lot more about where we're at. The Dogs are a top 2 team and we were pretty close until the end with 2 of our best players missing. If we struggle against the Panthers though we're in a stack of bother.

Iosefa at 9 and Farah at 7 wouldnt be that bad but can Iosefa play the full eighty? or do we need to carry Humble on the bench to help out.

I am going to go with the idea "Benji our of the halves" even though I am 100 percent sure he wont be out.

1\. Benji Marshall **I really liked his run from fullback against the Cowboys and if we get that at least 3 times a game and score off it it will be 12 points without the kicks. it will come in real handy and if this goes well I will be happy for him to stay fullback next year**

2\. Beau Ryan **What do i need to say? he has proved himself on the wing plenty of times this season and him with benji at the back would be a beautiful combination**

3\. Blake Ayshford **Last year he was really good in the centers but this year he has not been given a fair go so I would like to see him get a fair go, he is still young and has a great future**

4\. Chris Lawrence **He has probably the best defence in the whole backrow I have not seen much defensive errors coming from him and his attack isn't poor his try against the buldogs was arguably the best.

5\. Marika Koroibete **I have never seen this guy play but the way you guys describe him makes him sound like a superstar so since Lote is injured I would probably give him the number 5 jersey**

6\. Curtis Sironen **This guy is great, he is really good and will get better he might have had a beneath good game against the buldogs but that will only fire him up**

7\. Jacob Miller **As someone else pointed out in this thread, he and Curtis spent alot of time in the halves together playing park footy so they will be able to take it out to fg together and lets face it he never got the chance to shine like other players**

8\. Aaron Woods **Great Prop at this stage I wouldn't swap him with any other prop in the game, he deserves a origin jumper in 2013**

9\. Robbie Farrah **This guy is just great, all the hype is always about Benji but we have a really poor record of winning games without Farrah he has this spot sealed so I dont need to say much more**

10\. Keith Galloway **Making over 100 meters every game that is somthing to be proud of and he also deserves an origin jersey**

11\. Liam Fulton **Other than Chris Lawrence this guy is the best defender in the side has he even missed a tackle this season? I wouldn't every let him go.

12\. Gareth Ellis **He is missed at the tigers and every one can tell he is great in attack and defence, can't wait for him to get back and destroy**

13\. Matt Bell **Chris Heighington does not deserve a starting spot before this man, he did not let us down when Heighno was out and he did a better job than Heighno**

14\. Tom Humble **In my opinion buy of the season he has covered Fullback, Halfback and Hooker in the space of 18 rounds and if he leaves to Raiders he will be badly missed**

15\. Adam Blair **Every one thought he was going to be great and dominate but he did not play up to expectations this is why he will be on my bench and hopefully will be a great impact off the bench**

16\. Chris Heighington **Did not make my starting side because since comming back he has been very soft and needs to improve before starting again**

17\. Ben Murdoch Masila **Great impact off the bench and he will be comming on from my side after 30 minutes, he has proved him self over and over again**

He played 60 v the dogs so could do. What you could probably do is have sironen Onthe bench, then when iosefa goes off push farah into 9 for 20mins and ease Siro into first grade.

The more I think about it the more I like it.

Man whatever team is picked there must be room for Iosefa weather it be off the bench or run-on.His stats from last week proves he is an outstanding defender and posses' a quality attacking game as well. Im a big fan of Fults at lock also.

I like this team. Ayshfords doesn't deserve a spot at the moment but I can't see sheens playing 2 first game wingers. I alsomcant see heighno geting drpped or iosefa not getting a run after his match last week so I think the team would more likely be:

1\. Molten
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete/Grant
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Ellis
13\. Fulton

14\. Utai
15\. BMM
16\. Iosefa
17\. Heighington

Utai has been dynamite this year but I prefer him off the bench. He can cover as a 2nd quasi forward and play up the middle for a while. Robbie can float in the halves for 15 mins if required and Iosefa could take a bit of the defensive burden off Robbie during that time. Could be putting too much pressure on woods and keef but Blair, Ellis and Fulton and heighington can play 80 mins if required.

I don't think we can carry Utai, ayshfords and reddy in the same team due to their lack of speed. Ditto for Fulton, heighington and bell for their lack of impact in attack, but Fulton is first pick for his excellent defense and at least he can make a line break if we get some width in attack.

I like your starting side but there is no Prop on your bench. Cashmere or Bell have gotta get a run.

Might be alright as well actually

Going by the Wests Tigers website Ellis is due back rd20\. With everyone picking him in their teams, has it been announced that he is playing this weekend.
